Basically I want a couple of character to not show up on my profile. No I don't mean making them anon, just that you have click see all 14 characters to see them. I know you can do this, but I don't remember how.

Click "More character settings" when editing the profile of a character you do want to show up, then check the "looking for rp" box. Hope this helps ^^

You'll have to do this for each character you want to show up.
