The town of Red Creek has always been a calm, quiet place. Everyone has always gotten along, despite their... differences. The humans of the town don't mind the occasional odd occurrences; a wolf sighting in a sleepy suburban town? Nothing new. Levitating furniture? Not a problem. Talking cats? They've seen worse. In Red Creek, humans and Supernaturals -- ghosts, witches, werewolves, and whatnot -- live in harmony. Most are aware of their existence, and they get along pretty well. Friends, classmates and coworkers, and even family members often vary wildly from being humans to being Supernaturals. There are only two things that neither can abide. The first is being called "monsters," which has come to be known as a derogatory term. The second is vampires. As the only race of Supernatural that is considered a truly evil creature, the response to a vampire sighting ranges from shouting insults to full-on attack. This hasn't been a problem; vampires were thought to be almost extinct in that part of the world for years. That is... until a new family moves into town.



I will be using Alice for this RP (but I might tweak her history a little). Looking for any number of players (preferably four or more). Characters can be a Supernatural (vampire, witch, werewolf, zombie, ghost, whatever...) or human. Romance is optional. This will be done in a group forum, not 1x1. Please respond if you're interested!

I'm also interested; can there be an evil Supernatural other than vampires (i.e. this character?) If not, she can change a little to fit this RP.

Yes, of course Most people trust that the Supernaturals won't harm them, but of course there are some that don't fit the expectations. Additionally (for future reference), not all vampires have to be bad. People generally don't like vampires because they're seen as predatory creatures, but there's no reason that there can't be a good one if anybody wants to play as a vampire without being considered "the bad guy."

I'd need to make a character, but I am really interested in this. I love games where supernaturals and humans live side by side, whether knowingly or not! I'd probably end up playing as a human, possibly a new arrival, possibly one that's lived in town for a while.

To Wolfie: Yeah, a dragon is fine. They might get some strange glances from the residents (unless they can switch to human form -- of course, that's optional), but anything is welcome.
