A once peaceful kingdom has fallen under threat of genocide after a new king was appointed following the death of the previous. In response to this threat, several former advisors have gathered to seek two mercenaries to take out the Mad King, a young mercenary Marth was the first, and so far only, person to respond to their warrants. Marth is now on the hunt for another mercenary to join him along this perilous journey. Before reaching the Mad King, one must go through three trials, each more dangerous than the last. Will you team up with Marth and help him take out the Mad King or will you run away with your tail between your legs?
Notes: I would like this to be a 1x1 RP, combat will not be expected until later in the story, romance is possible, swearing is likely, though F-bombs and the like are not.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Renaissance
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
