A reptilian exclusive tavern...mostly. In a world where the people around shun them, reptilian humaoids thrive in the surrounding area. Humans are not unheard of, but rarely seen. Be that they are wise enough not to enter the tavern...or they don't even make it to the front stoop without being...otherwise deterred.
"Be sharp and stay clear", reads a tattered note stabbed to the clay wall that the tree bark door was seated in.

Beige drink with dark swirls and lots of ice. The drink smells wonderful and tastes like cinnamon. It causes very strange dreams.

Going for a more realistic, Skyrim air. So flashy/Anime characters that could be seen as a bit too cartoony are sadly not for this room. >3<

Jess wasn't so scared of this place. It wasn't the worst she'd seen. And she figured she could hold her own in a fight. When she walked in, she added to the number of openly-armed patrons, with a gun at one hip and an old ornate knife at the other. She wasn't scared, but she had the sense to keep her head down in this kind of place. She tipped her hat up just so she could head straight to the bartender.
She pulled a dented canteen from the side of the pack she carried and tapped it on the counter; from the sounds of it, it was real empty. "Do you charge for water?"

The plump, pale, female bartender whirled around in her spot. She'd been polishing off a few plates of food before dropping them on the counter, three here, three there, in front of other patrons framing the new woman's entrance. J'ahla beamed, hands dropping to her bountiful hips as she canted her head to one side, crazy, firey-red hair tousling to catch up with the head cant.
She thumbs to the back counter, brows raised, "Course not, love! Jus'a water?" She gets to work after drawing up the canteen, tapping it to one of the large kegs and turning the lever for the spout to unplug.
She filled the canteen sloppily, but regardless, got it filled to it's brim before screwing it closed. "Anything else I can get you today?" She folded her arms under her chest and cocked her hips to the other side, seeming...a little ready to dart off to do something else; fill a glass, rush a plate, supply a patron who was girl-less with a dance. For that was one of the attractions at The Night Howler, the dancers, male and female. Many of the scantily clad men and women skirted on tables or in the laps of patrons, but for the most part, they seemed to be enjoying their occupation at their own leisure.
J'ahla was back to stacking up plates of food, one on top of the other, each's contents steaming and in some cases...twitching. "Ya look like ya need food..." She drops a platter in front of the newcomer.
"Chopped cow with hickory and cardamom on a bed of sauteed peppers, spinach and mulberries. Served with poached eggs!"
She informed the woman shortly after with a firm nod, a thick, deep crimson lips turning up in a satisfied smile.
"Go'on. S'on me!" She chirped, the sound uncharacteristic for the hearty, close to earth woman.
