"You would?" Cass beamed, delighted. Her blush was utterly adorable, and he bounced on his toes in unadulterated joy. He loved her so much already. "Great! There's this really nice independent coffee shop just around the corner- I've only been there once or twice, but it's incredible, and I think you'll love it!"
Christian- his roommate- had introduced him to it, and the pair went every so often. As far as Cass knew, Christian went with his girlfriend fairly regularly, but he'd only met her a few times and they'd never all gone together- so the idea of having someone else to go with excited him a lot. The idea of it being Ace- that just made it even better! He hadn't felt this strongly, so quickly, for someone in a long time.
Throwing his satchel over his shoulder, he offered her an arm, trying to play the chivalrous gentleman. Just looking at her made him feel warm and happy; like he couldn't quite believe that someone so wonderful, someone so incredible, existed within his school. Someone who liked his puns and who blushed when he invited them for a coffee date!
His curls bounced around as he fidgeted on his feet, too overjoyed to stay still. The incident of the morning was the furthest thing from his mind, now; Ace's presence had wiped those thoughts and worries clean away.
He wasn't even worrying about drinking- and, more to the point, potentially eating- in front of her, and that was a rare thing indeed. It'd taken him months to reach that point with Christian; reaching it within two days was most definitely a record, and spoke to just how much he trusted her, how much he adored her.

Oliver maneuvered his way through the school, notebook sternly in his hands as he grumbled to himself. Damn that cryptic all seeing witch (not really). Who does she think she is? Ruling over his life just because she was really the only "family" he had left...... Okay, no that gave her all the reasons to worry and meddle. He stopped for a moment, out of pure instinct to take that moment to look up at the sky, to see the elegant blue with the puffs of whites dancing across it like a ballroom.
