England. The black plague has left the continent in ruin. People are scared and xenophobic of any outsiders. None the less people need help. There are things in the shadows. There is a world of magic and horror that most of the world remains blissfully ignorant of. You are one of the few that is not so lucky.
Planning on a couple of weird horror fantasy sessions, generally poking around and disturbing things best left forgotten. Initial characters are all non-magical humans. The game starts very low magic, but characters will soon have access to spells and magical items.

Magic is rare. Some of the players might have it. There may be sages or other magical figures that could be sought out for tutelage.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
