Korra thought for a moment then smiled. "Well its not too bad of an idea. He has the weapons for it already on the ship and im sure he has some cloaks around here somewhere. Its not too shabby of an idea. Maybe we should try it out," she replied with a smile then stood up and walked over to Daryn.

Waiting for his reply, she looked out the large window in the front to see those same storm clouds again. "Also i may want to warn you that we are going the wrong way aaaand thoses trom clouds are moving toward us," she warned and looked back at Daryn.

He grinned wryly. "Well, if you've got a better idea, I'm all ears."

As for the latter part, he grabbed the wheel and forced the airship into a tight turn. The deck sloped a little as the ship banked, but at least now they could use the storm's winds to aid them in their flight. They'd make decent time, assuming the storm didn't overtake them.

Korra was thrown off-balance as he turned and she slid backwards across the floor. Sliding into a pile of boxes, luckily they were all empty so it didnt hurt when they toppled onto her. Though a bunch of dust was thrown up and made her sneeze several times, making her start to tear up. Then she laugh softly to herself and wiped her eyes free of tears.
"Nice turning there," she said sarcastically.

"Oh, sorry," he muttered sheepishly. He forgot that she didn't have the experience with airships that he did. "I should have warned you. You're not hurt are you?"

He went over to help her out of the boxes, before eyeing them. "Wonder what these are here for."

Korra smiled as he helped her then stood up, brushing herself off. "No im fine. Thank you," she said with a smile. Then she shrugged at his comment and went back to the window.
"So where is it that we're going?" she asked.

He returned to the wheel, watching her at the window. "It's a surprise," he said with a grin, then added: "We're heading to Kingsway. Hope you don't mind a detour."

Kingsway was not the biggest city known to man, but it was prized for its rare jewels and exceptional skill at building ships, among other things. It was one of the first cities that Daryn had been to when he'd first come aboard the airship Steel and Clockwork and it had also been where he purchased his pocket watch and compass.

There was also, if he permitted himself to acknowledge it, the slightest chance he could find a trail leading to his father, for he knew that was the last place his father had been before being deemed a traitor.

Korra looked back at him confused. "What's Kingsway?" she asked then walked over to Daryn. Bending down, she gently pulleed his pant leg up till she could see his wound.
"How's it healing?" she asked and saw he had wrapped it up recently.

Then she rolled his pant leg back down and stood back up with a smile. Then she kissed his cheek and smiled sweetly. "I love you Daryn," she said quietly then put her chin on his shoulder and looked up at him.

He grinned. "Oh? You've never heard of it? It's a small town. You'll love it." He wasn't going to elaborate more, just let her see it for herself. In a few more hours they'd be crossing over to it.

"Oy!" He was thrown off balance when Korra suddenly pulled his pant leg up. "You mind giving me a warning next time?" he muttered. "It's fine. It's healing nicely."

And then he smiled and patted her head when she perched her chin on his shoulder. "If you keep a lookout you'll find we'll be passing over a jewel-encrusted wall shortly. That's how you know we'll be in Kingsway. I might warn you that jewelry thieves are commonplace and they have no mercy when it comes to dealing with them. But otherwise it's a safe town, and really pretty."

That and he was looking forward to getting her a pocket watch of her own.

Korra rolled her eyes when he mutttered about the warning. "Do i have to warn you about everything? Like when im going to kiss you or when im going to walk down the hall or when im going to unpack our stuf?" she asked making each one more ridiculous than the other just for his amusement.

Then Korra walked over to the window and stared in awe as they passed over a jewel encrusted wall. Oh this terra was going to be exciting, she could just feel it. Turning on her heel, she ran for the loading bay and when she reached it Kyro looked up. Korra opened the loading ramp and leaned out to see down below, watching the streets and people.

He laughed, his eyes sparking with amusement. "No, just when you start yanking on my clothes."

He watched her briefly as she went over to the window to look at the wall and then they were being hailed by an airship command center. He quickly followed their directions to a landing site,which was conveniently located to the watch shop he had wanted.

"Well, we're here," he said, docking almost perfectly aside from a small jarring when they finally struck ground. "You might wanna move Kyro outta the way of the doors though."

Korra talked to Kyro for a bit then he relcutantly got up and moved away. He had been comfortable there and wasnt too terribly happy about moving but he found another spot away from the doors that was almost as comfy. Curling up again and going back to sleep. Korra slid down the loading bay and onto the docking platform then looked around excitingly.

Korra could barely wait for Daryn to hurry up but she did so with an impatient exceitment. Her eyes glimmered as she looked around making her look like a kid at christmas time with many presents. Eager to head out, she quickly took Daryn's hand as he got off then pulled him toward a shop that was right in front of them.

Korra's excitement reminded him of his own when they'd first docked here. He chuckled as made the last few touches to the airship before heading out to the landing doors where Kyro was moving sluggishly away.

"Sorry, Kryo--thanks." Daryn called to the dragon.And then snorted. He didn't need to secure his ship; the dragon would eat anyone who trespassed.

And then he was being hauled down the ramp by Korra. "Easy, Korra, we've got time." He looked around soaking in the atmosphere. People were in a good mood, trading was happening, and jewels were sparkling from just about every angle. "Where would you like to go first?"

Korra looked back at Daryn as he told her easy. "I know but im just soo excited," she asid with a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. Then she looked around and pointed to the shop in front of them. The one Daryn wanted to take her to.

Keeping a hold on Daryn's hand, she intertwined their fingers then headed over to the shop at a slower pace this time. So Daryn didnt have to be dragged along with her. They got to the doors and opened them then went inside, pausing at the entrance in awe at all the jewels, silver, gold, and bronze in that place.

Daryn smiled and readily entwined his fingers with Korra's, following her lead. He was vaguely surprised when she led him over to the jewelry/clock shop, though he kept his face passive--only to look awed when they looked at the jewelry items.

He let her look and then tugged her further into the store, where the watches were kept. Here was where the real treasures lay. Jewels and precious metals decorated pocket watches, clocks, grandfather clocks, just about anything that could tell time. And everything was set behind glass to be observed. Daryn looked over most of them, before finding one that resembled his--a miracle given each one was hand-pieced and created by a few different gentlemen during the process.

"Can I help you?" An older gentleman who looked like he worked with clocks and springs hailed them from behind the counter.

Korra looked around at the watches then found the one that looked almost exactly like Daryns. She wanted one but didnt have near enough to pay for it and she wasnt about to steal it. Then she looked up as the older man came over.
"Well..actually can i see that pocket watch?" she asked and pointed to the one that looked alot like Daryn's.

Korra wasnt going to steal it but it would be nice to look at it. Wishful thinking is nice every once in a while. When he handed her the watch, she opened it and looked at the inside. The clock hands were nice and the numbers were a pretty type a cursive almost. Then she closed it with a small sigh and handed it back to the man. "Thank you," she told him.

The man grinned, easily won over by anyone's love for a good time piece. "Make me an offer, darlin', I'll see what I can do."

It caught Daryn by surprise and he glanced at Korra. "Is that really the one you want?" Well, so much for making it a surprise...if he bought it for her here and now.

Korra instantly brightened up and looked at Daryn. "Can i have it?" she asked excitedly and happily. Looking at Daryn hopefully, she would never ask for anything else if he would get her that. Well except for him to stay with her.

Korra held Daryn's hand a little tighter and got all bubbly at the thought of having it.

Daryn grinned at Korra's enthusiasm and nodded. "Sure." He turned back to the man behind the desk with a grin. "How much you asking for it?"

The man arched his brow. "You're gonna buy it for the lady? I'll knock off 25%."

Daryn grinned and pulled out his pocket watch. "It's the matching set isn't it?"

The man's eyes went round and he started to reach for it before catching himself. "Maybe. Wouldn't know until I inspected it. 35% off."

Daryn smiled. "Deal." He paid for the watch as the man grumbled a little as he wrapped it up in a nice case and then smiled as he handed it to Korra.

"Take good care of it, lass. It'll keep time wet or dry, and if it gets damaged we can repair it. Shy of building a new one altogether. Sir, may I look at your watch?"

Daryn handed his over and let the clockmaker ooh and ahh over it, before finally handing it back. "Yep, those two are a match." He smiled at Daryn. "You two have fun now."

Korra held onto the watch then she shoved it deep in her pocket. Looking at Daryn, she waited for him to get his watch back before taking his hand and pulling him from the store. When they were outside, she tackle-hugged him tightly and grinned.
"I love you Daryn," she said into his ear quietly and didnt let go for a little while.

Korra had never been bought anything and it felt amazing to have someone care for you like this. Though she would probably never ask for another thing from him.

He laughed as he followed her outside and then caught her as she tackled him in a hug. "I'm glad you're happy," he said, a huge grin on his face. And then softer, "I love you, too, Korra." He squeezed her tight for a moment before loosening his grip.

At this moment he was happy, content. Nothing would ever make him forget this moment. Not least of all because of her watch's similarities to his own.

"It's rare to find a match, you know," he told her. "So you're lucky."
