Korra kissed back just as passionately and heated, making her push a little harder into the kiss. Shivering slightly as his hand ran down her side, her breathing was slightly heavier. It was starting to get uncomfortably hot with her overshirt on.

When he pulled away a little, her mind was fogged up to where she just stopped thinking. Taking her overshirt off, she was wearing a small, white, halfshirt with some bronze ribbons tied into the shoulder sleeves. Then she kissed Daryn feverishly and passionate.

Taking his cue from her, he quickly pulled off his shirt as well, exposing his chest to her--though not for the first time. Last time he'd just been coming out of the shower; this time, she was free to explore.

He chuckled softly, as he ran his hands over the little ribbon ties on her shoulders, plucking at them experimentally as his lips met Korra's again.

He figured she would let him know when she had enough, so twisting so he was laying half over her, his hands began to roam from the ribbon ties to the base of her half shirt. At some point, his hand glossed lightly over her stomach, a fleeting touch but there nonetheless.

Korra lightly placed her hands on his chest then lightly ran her hands down to his lower chest. Then she lightly traced a random pattern with the tip of her finger, around the middle of his chest then out.

Korra slightly shivered as his hand lightly swept across her stomach at some point. Then she pulled away a little bit and lightly brushed her soft lips across his jawline. Finally she trailed light kisses down his neck and placed one in the crook between his shoulder and neck before pausing. Glancing into Daryn's eyes.

Daryn shivered under her light touch, her fingers tickling him as they swept down his chest. He grinned and tilted his head to allow her better access to his jaw and neck, eliciting a small rumble of enjoyment from him.

He grinned down at her, kissing her nose and then her forehead when she paused. "I'm game," he told her with a playful smirk, though his eyes glittered with desire.

And depending on how things went, all thoughts of finding his father vanished.

Korra blushed as he gave a rumble of enjoyment and smiled. Then she closed her eyes briefly as he kissed her forehead and nose. "Im in for it," she agreed.

Korra then kissed him hard and deep, running her hands down his chest and stomach lightly. Then hooks her thumbs in the waistband of his pants. Blushing slightly as she tilted her head slightly as they kissed.

Nothing crossed her mind but her feelings for Daryn and what she wanted at the moment.

He woke early in the morning, his arm around Korra, and he felt content. For a while he thought of nothing, he just lay there, enjoying the moment. But after a few minutes, he knew that he'd have to get up.

"Korrrrraaaa," he whispered against her neck, tantalizingly close, "I'mma take a shower. Be back in a jif." He kissed her shoulder and then headed for the bathroom. In a moment, water would start and the mirrors would be fogging up.

Korra mummbled something incoherent as he called her name quietly. Turning over onto her stomach and burying her head in a pillow. Then she heard the water running and stretched with a soft groan at her sore muscles.

Korra smiled as she remembered her and Daryn's night then settled back down. A little too tired to get up at the moment, she turned her head to look at the bathroom door then closed her eyes intending to just lay there and wait for him to come out so she could ask why he was in such a hurry. She had completely forgotten about the old man in the clockwork shop and Daryn wanting to question him.

He finally finished his shower, hoping he had saved enough hot water for Korra, before stepping out. He was good, refreshed, and above all else, optimistic for the future. He put on his usual garb and then re-entered the bedroom where he eyed the huddle of blanket that was most likely Korra.

He sat down next to her on the bed, combing his fingers through her hair. "You want to stay here while I go check things out?" he asked softly. "I'm pretty sure I saw some sort of rations near the loading bay." Assuming Kyro hadn't found them first and made a meal of them.

Korra mummbled an incoherent complaint before moving closer to Drayn. Putting her head on his leg that was closest to her. "Daryn..Im hungry.." she complained quietly and sleepily. Then she couldnt help but smile a bit.

"Dont forget to talk to that guy at the clockwork shop," Korra reminded him quietly and yawned a little. Then she sat up and rubbed her eyes, stretching a little afterwards. She wanted to go with him but she wanted to take a shower and put some new clothes on.

He smiled down at her. "I can wait--it doesn't have to be right this minute." He had been waiting for several years already. A few minutes either way wouldn't hurt now. At least, he hoped not. He bent down to kiss her cheek.

"I'll get breakfast then while you take a shower, how's that sound?"

Korra woke up more after Daryn kissed her cheek, making her smile. Then she hugged him gently and kissed his cheek back before slipping off the bed. "Sounds like a plan," she replied happily. As if agreeing with her, her stomach growled and she blushed embarrassedly.

Korra then grabbed her a pair of clean clothes and went into the bathroom. Starting the bath, she undressed and slipped in. Then ten or so minutes later she got out and got dressed. Before sitting on the bed and waiting for Daryn.

Daryn waited until she was in the shower before gathering whatever breakfast supplies the bounty hunter had used before them.

He grinned as he sorted through them; fruit and some cheeses and bread. They would work well enough. And of course rations. He came back from his excursion through the ship to find Korra was ready.

"Oh, were you waiting long?" he asked. "I found some good supplies." He proceeded to set out breakfast. "Tuck in."

"Nah not too long. Thanks," Korra said with a smile then took a slice of cheese and ate it quickly. Then she picked some grapes off their vine and popped them into her mouth. The ship rocked to the side a bit and Korra stumbled into Daryn since he was next to her. Laughing softly, she blushed a little.
"Sorry. Still not used to the air currents being so bad sometimes," she said with an embarrassed smile.

Kyro went through Korra's bag till he found the meat and licked it up quickly. Licking his jaws afterwards and shifting through Daryn's stuff looking for meat too.

Daryn helped himself to the food as well; selecting some bread and cheeses before grabbing an apple. He lurched as the ship did, though mostly because Korra had run into him.

He caught her with a grin, his arm snaking around her waist to keep her steady. "It's okay; I forget that it took me two years to acquire my air legs. I was hopeless until then. One word of advice--don't grab onto a rope if you can help it." He showed her the palm of his right hand which had a rope burn through the middle of it. "I learned that the hard way."

As for his pack, Kyro would be in luck; he had a small package of ham which, although it might last for a few days with people, would barely suffice for a dragon's meal.

Korra took his hand with the rope burn and looked at the palm. Softly running her thumb over it absentmindedly, then she smiled and pulled her hand away.
"Sorry. But i'll take that advice. How many years had you worked for the captain?" she asked as she pulled away from him.

Korra grabbed an apple as well, then sat in a chair nearby and crossed one of her legs over the other. They had about an hour till the shop in town opened so she thought she should get to know him better. She knew him pretty well so far but not really anything about the years on Steel and Clockwork.

Kyro licked it up quickly and licked his jaws again. Then as he was still hungry, he broke open some boxes until he found a big supply of raw meat. Then he ate it all and grumbled when he was full.

Daryn's fingers twitched as she tickled his palm. That he'd lost the use of it for several weeks had actually worked in his favor--forcing him to use his left hand for normal tasks. Now he was nearly ambidextrous with tying knots.

"Five years," he said softly and started to finger the badge that labeled him as a Petty Officer Second Class before realizing he no longer wore that outfit. His face fell briefly, but a moment later he wore a smile. "I wouldn't change anything. It's taught me a lot about myself. And, believe it or not, I matured some."

Korra smiled as his fingers twitched and tried not to laugh. Then she watched Daryn as he talked about it.
"You know you can still be a 2nd class petty officer and make it to captain. After we find your father and everything..you can join another ship or just get your own and be a captain," she suggested.

Korra wasnt sure about what was going to happen to them after they found his dad. So she didnt mention anything about herself or them.

Kyro snorted as the loading bay door opened and seeral men in uniforms walked in.

Daryn brightened some. "I would like to be a captain some day, but I guess we can't all work our way up the chain of command the same way. And if I find my father...when I find him, maybe I can convince him to go home and support the family. Maybe then we" he smiled at Korra, "can decide what to do with ourselves afterwards."

But something still didn't set right with him. Whatever had caused his father to desert his ship, it surely couldn't have been the same reason that had caused Daryn to do the same. And it wasn't like he had wanted to desert--he just hadn't been able to get back to his crew and captain. Though he knew he would have to pay comeuppance eventually. He wasn't exactly looking forward to that, but he knew too that he wouldn't always be able to run away. His past would catch up with him eventually.

He ran his hands through his hair, before tensing slightly. Vibrations ran through the ship indicating someone had stepped on. "Are we expecting company?" he asked shortly.

Korra got up and looked suddenly alert. Grabbing her holster, she strapped it onto her thigh then loaded her gun quickly.
"Nope. Im gonna check it out," she said quickly then rushed out the door. Heading down the hall rather quickly, she pause at the end and took out her gun. Ready to be fired, her gun was all polished up and glinted in the dim daylight streaming into the ship from a window installed in the ceiling. Showing it was a cloudy day as gray clouds floated over the sun, taking away the light she had been using to see. Now it was almost black in the hallways.

Kyro crept behind a tower of boxes as men in enforcer suits entered. Korra and Daryn had been spotted by one of Daryn's old crew mates. Now the crew mate was leading soldiers inside but there werent all that many of them.

Daryn growled as once again Korra took off without him. "At least let me provide backup," he grumbled, grabbing his own gun and checking to make sure he had ammunition in it before following.

Daryn caught up to her a few seconds later, treading softly despite his thick soled boots. It was an art he'd had to get good at as a midshipman when sneaking past the captain's quarters well after he was supposed to be asleep.

"See 'em yet?" he breathed softly, just the barest hint of a whisper. No doubt if they didn't see the intruders soon, he and Korra would hear them when Kyro struck.
