Korra's body went rigid and for a fraction of a second stopped breathing as Daryn came up behind her. Teaching herself not to react with sound was something barely accomplished but accomplished either way. Letting out a small sigh of relief that it was just him, she relaxed.
"Not yet but im sure theyre still in the bay. We are on our own here. I've told Kyro to stay out of it if authorities are involved," she whispered quietly.
Then silently started walking towards the loading bay. Staying low, she holstered her gun then crawled on her belly towards the edge of the overhang. Looking down, she counted ten enforcers and one that looked like he was part of a ships crew. Though she noticed the outfitting and frowned. He was part of the Steel and Clockwork.

Daryn nodded and waited as Korra crawled towards the overhang to peer down. He wondered what she saw, but knew that if he tried to follow her, he'd be heard or seen. With a sigh he waited.
Down below, the crew member of the Steel and Clockwork was none other than the Petty Officer 1st Class, Eric Hatchman. Sent, of course, by the captain under the stern orders of finding Daryn Keeble at any cost and bringing him back for a court martial. His reward? A raise and a promotion.
"Fan out and keep your wits about you. He's sure to be around here somewhere. And he's good on ropes, so look where you step." Warned Eric, casting a brief look upwards as well--though due to the darkness of the ship, wasn't able to make out much.

Korra narrowed her eyes and gripped the edge of the overhang so tight her knuckles turned white. Then she grinned wickedly. "Your gonna be the first to go.." she muttered to herself. Then she crawled back to Daryn and stood up, brushing off her clothes.
"Well one of your crewmates sold you out. He's leading this raid. Enforcers are spreading out and Kyro will be out of the fight unless one gets close to him. There are ten enforcers and i have eight bullets. We can do this but it will take stealth," she murmured and something close to anger flashed in her eyes.
Then she looked into Daryn's eyes and couldnt help the smile that graced her lips. Standing on her tiptoes, she quickly and gently kissed his lips. Then before he could react, she pulled away and took out her gun. Disappearing around the corner after glancing back again and giving Daryn a smile.
Lurking through the hallways, she paused as she heard the clank of armor then a curse. Quickly, she leapt from around the corner and shot at an enforcer who wasnt prepared at even the slightest.

Darryn wasn't surprised about his crew hunting him down; he did abandon ship after all. But he would be surprised to note that it was Eric.
Then he was distracted from warning Korra to be careful when she kissed him. It wasn't until she was gone that he sighed and pressed his lips together.
He shimmied to the overhang, careful to keep his body low, but even so the scuff of his boot drew attention. And looking over the edge, he saw Eric raising his gun.
Darryn ducked back just as the gun fired.
"Darryn! If you fancy your life, you'd best surrender now! You know it's treason if you don't come back for the court martial."
Darryn snorted. "I didn't commit treason. I simply didn't return to the ship as quickly as I could have." If he could distract Eric from Korra, so much the better. "Besides, since when does a petty officer first class come after would-be traitors?"
Darryn began to inch back from the overhang, looking for something to do that wouldn't involve shooting Eric. He liked the superior officer and looked up to him; even if they were on opposite sides of the law now.
"When a promotion is at stake. Just surrender already!"

Korra of course already swore to take down that other crew member and she wasnt about to go soft like she did with Daryn. Prowling through the halls, she quickly took down eight of them since they were all in a tight radius of one another. In the dark, she had a major advantage on them. So now there was two left and she didnt have ammo.
"Guess im going old fashioned. Break some necks," she mummbled to herself then froze as a gun was put to her head. Before they could fire however, she ducked down and kicked his legs out from under him. Crawling on top of him, she pinned him and broke his wrist. He let out a cry of pain and dropped the gun, then he stared up at Korra in fear. He had to be around 17 and not near old enough to be doing jobs like this.
With a heavy sigh, she got off of him and picked up his gun. "Leave. Feel lucky that im letting you do so," she hissed to him quietly. As soon as she said that, the boy was up and running away fast. Then she turned and headed for the loading bay. The boy ran out of the ship seconds before she got there. Staying behind crates, she looked out and saw the crewman there. Looking around, she found some rope and pulled it over. Now she would wait until he got a tad closer.

"I won't," replied Daryn. "I can't until I find my father." He wasn't going to dare mention Korra.
"We already know what happened to him; he was a traitor, a deserter. Good riddance too."
Daryn took a potshot at Eric, not intending to hit him, but make him rethink his statement. "If you know where my father is, you better say something now."
Eric scoffed even as he leaped out of the way of the bullet, drawing closer to Korra's trap. "Everyone know's he's been hung for his crimes. Come on, Daryn. Give it up already! You can't evade us; everyone knows who you are and what you've done. The most you'll ever be able to do is stay one step ahead of us, and you can't evade us forever."
"I don't mean to evade you forever, but I'm not surrendering until I find my father." Daryn ducked as Eric fired another shot at him.

Korra silently crawled behind the crewman then erked his legs out from under him. As he lande with a thud, she cralwed on top of him and quickly grabbed the gun from him. Throwing it to the other side of the loading bay. Scrambling with the rope, she had his hands bound quickly in front of him.
Just for good measure, she punched him hard in his jaw anger appahrent in her eyes. "Your a jerk you know that?! Selling out your own crew member for a damned promotion!" she hissed and grabbed the collar of his shirt, lifting him up a few inches from her. "Your lucky im actually allowing you to live. And thats only because Daryn respects you. So you should be happy he was here," she growled quietly then let him fall back onto the metal floor.

It all happened so fast that Eric only had time to let out a strangled yelp as he was kicked to the floor and then bound. Least he wasn't gagged.
Belatedly he struggled with the rope, his eyes smoldering with anger as he looked at Korra. "You're that wench who stole our ship. If you knew anything about shipmates, we look out for each other. I'm trying to bring Daryn back alive--which he wouldn't be if a bounty hunter got wind of you guys. As for the respect part..."
Daryn grimaced, hurrying down to the same level they were on in case Korra tried to do anything else.
"He does respect me and he'll let me out of these bonds if he knows what's good for him." Eric turned to look at Daryn as he stepped out of the shadows.
But Daryn's arms were crossed. "Not until I find my father, Eric. And who knows, maybe if we keep you here with us long enough, they'll suspect you of deserting as well. After all, they knew we both got along."
Eric's eyes widened a little. "They wouldn't! I have a promotion waiting for me."
Daryn smiled. "That does make it a little harder--but surely you wanted more than just a promotion. And perhaps...well, perhaps on that ship they're a little more suspicious of deserters..."
Real fear crept into Eric's face and he struggled with his bonds again. "No! Let me go! I refuse to be called a deserter or a traitor!"

Korra was still sitting on his waist and she quickly pinned him down. "Quit squirming you make it uncomfortable and i dont trust you enough to get off. Weeellll...i could just sick Kyro on you.." she said with an evil smirk.
Then she looked around and leaned off of Eric in order to grab an extra piece of rope. Then she bound the mans legs together tightly and got off of him. She had completely forgotten about the last enforcer which was now standing behind Daryn with a gun to his head.
"Untie the man or he goes," the enforcer said.
Korra paled and balled her hands into fists before sighing irritatedly. Leaning back over Eric, she untied his hands but not his legs. The enforcer cocked his gun but Korra still hesitated.

Daryn swallowed as he felt the gun pressed to his head. He was a dead man walking either way; and he had nothing to lose accept his life. And Korra. The thought struck him hard enough that he flinched.
"No!" Daryn spun, knocking the other enforcer's hand away just as the gun went off; the ricochet could be heard though there was no telling where the bullet ended up.
Eric grinned as his hands were freed--he kicked with both legs at Korra as he drew a knife from his belt and began to saw at the rope.

Korra felt his feet collide with her chest and the wind was knocked out of her. Stumbling back, she fell onto her back with a thud and was coughing hard. Gasping in air, she winced as she sat up and rubbed her chest.
"Ow! You freakin jerk!" she growled and her eyes were simmering with anger.
Then she leapt forward at him and gave him a hard blow to the right cheek. Her body was trembling with anger and she quickly pinned him down. Grabbing the knife, she pried it from his hand and put it in the waistband of her shorts. Then she punched him repeatedly and grabbed his shirt, lifting him up. "Calm your ass down and just be glad we-I-didnt kill you when i had the chance," she hissed then slammed him back against the floor.

"Jerk? You're the one who attacked me! I was more than happy to come in peacefully and get what I needed."
A gasp escaped him as he struck the ground again, hard, his cheek stinging from her hit. "Stop banging me around. That hurts!" He attempted to twist under her, drawing his arms in close to his body before rolling. Once he got his hands and legs under him, he'd be good to go.
Daryn knocked the enforcer out cold with the butt of his gun. "Stay down." Before launching himself at Eric and Korra. "He's got a reserve gun, don't let him draw it!"

Korra couldnt help the evil glint in her eyes as he attempted to get her off. She put his legs in between hers and squeezed them tight togther, pinning him there. Grabbing his wrists, she pinned them above his head and sat down on his waist to completely make him immobile.
"You expect me to stop banging you around just cause you asked? Dont make me laugh. Im purposely staying in between you and Daryn," she hissed quietly to him and him only. Though blood seeped through the bottom of her shirt as she didnt notice his knife had cut her in all the bustle. It wasnt bad though.
Searching for his reserve gun with her eyes, she didnt see it. "Daryn can you get some rope please?" she asked as she kept the man pinned.

Eric finally stopped struggling, as Daryn fetched the rope and rebound his arms and ankles. Tucked into Eric's boot was a small, single-shot pistol, which Daryn collected.
And then for good measure, Daryn tied up the other man he'd knocked out, before tossing him out the hatch.
"Well, should we go for a short flight?" Daryn asked Korra. "We can always toss him overboard if he's so anxious to get back to his beloved captain." Even though he spoke the words callously, Daryn wished deep down that he didn't have to be wary of his own ex-crew. And he was envious of all Eric had going for him.
Eric glowered at them.

Korra got off of him as Daryn tied him up and she took his knife from her waist band, noticing the blood. Scowling, she threw the knife at Eric's head and it stuck fast just a centimeter away from his head. "You should go ask that man in the shop your questions before we go Daryn," she said sweetly to him before turning back to Eric.
"Dont ever threaten me again. I wont miss next time," she hissed then turned on her heel and stalked off.
Mainly to go clean off the blood on her shirt. It was her favorite shirt too..oh well. Going back to the captain's quarters, she removed her shirt and grabbed a rag. Wetting it with warm water, she gently dabbed at the cut on her low tummy. Wiping off the blood, she grabbed some guaze and cut off a long piece then taped it down so it would soak up the blood instead.

Daryn saw the line of blood on Korra's shirt before she walked away. He turned back to Eric with a snarl.
"What the hell did you do to her?" he demanded, readying his fist to punch his commanding officer. No. Ex-commanding officer.
Eric smirked. "Nothing. She did it to herself. That knife is double-edged. Specially made from, you might guess, here. Figured it wouldn't hurt to take...precautions."
Eric suddenly pursed his lips together and whistled sharply two notes. And then thirty seconds later, two men entered, guns pointed at Daryn.
"You didn't think I was dumb enough to bring all my men aboard, did you? This is what separates a 2nd Class from a 1st Class Petty Officer." Eric added smugly as Daryn was quickly stripped of his weapons and his hands were tied behind his back.
"If you behave, I'll even spare your girlfriend."
Daryn growled. "You wouldn't dare touch her."
"Only if you cooperate. Now march." Dragged to his feet once again, Daryn was being escorted off the stolen airship.

Kyro decided it was his turn and he knocked over the boxes as he charged out. Swinging his tail around, he knocked both the guards, Daryn, and the other man down. Except he plucked Daryn from the two guards grasp, and tilted his head back making it look like he ate him. But really he just kept Daryn inside his mouth. Then he chortled to show he was aggresive.
Korra finished cleaning off and changed into a red and white half shirt. It had razor sharp, metal ribbons tied into the sleeves and she headed back down to the loading bay. Leaving her gun back in the room since she thought the threat was over. Walking down into the loading bay, the clanking of her metal boots stopped as she looked at the three men and Kyro in shock.

Daryn had no idea what to expect--least of all being in a dragon's mouth! He sort of just held his breath and waited, figuring that if he was going to die, he might as well go out big. It was too bad he didn't have kids, this one would make for some sort of record. "Kids, your grandfather deserted his ship and then his son, your father, was swallowed by a dragon. So eat your veggies." He chuckled and then gagged as the scent of dragon and rotting meat filled his nose and throat.
Eric freaked out. Dragons in the distance was one thing; having one pop out of nowhere and eat his bounty was a completely different terror.
If he hadn't been disarmed, he would have fired several rounds into Kyro. As it was, one of the other enforcers took care of that for him, while Eric scrambled to his feet and high-tailed it out of the area. The other two enforcers right on his tail.
Which soon left Korra, the dragon, a downed enforcer and a decidedly missing Daryn in the ship.

Korra balled her hand into fists and narrowed her eyes. "Oh no you dont! Your not getting off that easily Eric!" she exclaimed and ran ou of the ship, following them. Adrenaline pumped through her veins as she picked up speed and shoved past the two enforcers.
Bullets hit Kyro's scales but reflected off and fell harmlessly to the side. Then he watched in horror as an unarmed Korra skidded out after Eric. Opening his mouth and dropping Daryn carefully down onto the loading bay floor, he scooped him up so that he was on his back. Then he ran out of the ship and spread his wings, taking off after Korra.
Korra shoved past people and didnt even think twice about what a man, Eric's size could do to someone so much smaller than herself. She was blinded by pure fury at him getting away and especially for him selling out Daryn. He would pay wether he chose to make it easy or hard. Seeing him ahead, she climbed up a stack of boxes and onto a rooftop then ran across. Just ahead of Eric now, she leaped off and tackled him to the cement ground though the force of it sent them roling head over heels for several feet before stopping. Korra was under Eric since he was the heavier one an therefore cancelled herself. Though she quickly changed that when she kneed him in the side and pinned him down. Sweat beads dripping down the side of her head, heart feeling like it was going to explode from all the running, and her breathing heavy and hard. "You're" pant "not getting" pant and deep breath "away so easily" she managed to get out and kept a strong grip on him even though her body felt like jelly.

Daryn gasped for air before he was being lifted onto Kyro's back and they were speeding after Korra. "Korra! Don't do it!" he yelled after her. But she had too much of a lead on them.
Eric tumbled forward when Korra hit him out of nowhere. He grabbed for a weapon he didn't have and managed a half-hearted blow to her face before he was being kneed in the side and pinned again. Except he grinned up at her.
"You're forgetting--I have two--enforcers watching--my back." He gasped, just as said enforcers came up to pull Korra off their commanding officer. "And now, you have no weapon and you've seriously pissed me off."
Eric scrambled to his feet and threw a punch at Korra's face before he lost his chance.
