Korra raised her eyebrow then couldnt help but to smile. "Well Daryn. My name is Korra Sage and you'll remember that after i dump you on the next land mass," Korra replied.
Eating the apple, she opened a window and tossed it overboard when she was done. Then she took a rag and wet it with some water from her canteen. Walking over to Daryn, she gently wiped the blood from his upper lip and from under his nose.
"Didnt mean to hit you that hard," she said and assessed his injury.
Then she got up and tossed the rag into a trash can. Going over to the big wheel, she turned the ship and took her map out again.

He scowled as she introduced herself. "Not likely," he muttered belligerently.

He fell silent for a moment as he watched her eat the apple and toss the core. Ugh, someone was going to get hit with that later. And then he was unprepared for her to look at his nose and wipe the blood off his face. He didn't fight then, he was already vulnerable and the last thing he wanted to do was give her more initiative to hurt him.

Finally she stood and left him alone. Daryn watched her move around. "You're obviously not a pirate--you have no crew. Unless you're planing on picking one up? Why did you take our ship?"

"Im a pirate but your captain took my crew member. So i took his ship and im going to get my crew member back," Korra rplied.
Sighing with frustration as she realized she had no idea where they were. Hitting her head on the wheel, she groaned and gripped the map.
"Stupid maps," she mutterd.

He watched her and a hollow laugh followed her head. "A pirate who can't read maps? That's a tragedy. Too bad you weren't an air-shipman; you'd've been taught all that from day one. Can I have my pocketwatch back?"

Yes, he was back to that. And then he added, "If you ask nicely, I might be able to read the map for you."

Korra threw him a dirty looked then just made a split second desicion and turned the ship sharply causing him to roll.
"No you cant have your pocket watch back. I rather like it thank you very much," she replied and pocketed her map.
She would just have to find it on her own and she was pretty sure this huge ship had a library. But first she needed to put him somewhere, where she didnt have to listen to him. Grabbing the back of his shirt, she dragged him from the control room and into the captains room. Then she shoved him into the captain's closet and shut the closet door not listening to a word he said.
The captains room was huge and his bed was at least a king. The adjoining bathroom was half as big as his bedroom and it had a huge tub.
Finally after looking around, she left the captains room and went back to the control room without a word to Daryn. She would go and get him later.

He yelped as he rolled and finally lay there listless. "Alright, alright, you win." And then she was grabbing him and hauling him to his feet and out of the control room.

"Hey! Watch it! This shirt isn't cheap--and neither is the vest! Why do you think I didn't bleed-" slam the closet door shut on his words, "-on it?"

He scowled in the darkness. "You shut me in a closet! How classy!" He heard his voice echo in the small room and he winced. His nose throbbed and his head hurt from his earlier roll.

With his hands bound behind him, he began to sort through the captain's pockets. "C'mon captain, you gotta tell me you have a spare blade in here somewhere..."

He came up empty, and with a sigh, he fell to his knees and then sat. Careful not to pitch over. He wasn't comfortable by any means; but it beat getting the snot kicked out of him. He grumbled to himself as he thought about that pocket watch. And then he remembered his father's medallion. But that would be worse than useless and he couldn't reach his pocket. With a sigh, he fell silent and waited.

Korra had managed to get them into the open skies and it was night time when she returned to the captains quarters. Opening the closet, she pulled him back out and leaned him against a wall.
"Now will you stay put if i untie you or do i have to keep you this way throughout the whole trip?" she asked.
His knife-gun was in her waistband and his pocket watch's chain was hanging out of her pocket. They were cruising for the night and she was exhausted since she hadnt slept in two days. Really she didnt want to keep him tied up but there wasnt another way around this.

He'd fallen asleep as the hours wore on, bored out of his mind. Hearing the closet door open, however, he wakened enough to at least blink the sleepers out of his eyes as she hauled him out of the closet. He leaned back against the wall and then couldn't help the yawn that split his face in two. And made him wince as his nose protested the movement.

Eyeing his gun-knife in her belt and the pocket watch chain leading to her pocket he sighed and looked away. "I won't try anything. You can untie me." He needed to use the toilet in a bad way and he'd rather not have her help him with that. Besides that, she looked exhausted.

Korra hesitated at first then she turned him around and cut his ropes loose on his wrists. Then on his ankles, she reluctantly handed him his gun-knife and pocket watch. Dissappointment clearly in her eyes as she handed him his pocket watch.
Finally she went over to the captain's bed and crawled into it, but she had taken precautions. Before she took him out of the closet, she had locked the door with the key and put it around her neck on a chain. Laying in the captains bed, she closed her eyes and was out quicker than you could say sleep.

He was speechless for once when she handed over his pocket watch and the dagger. He slipped the former into a pocket, the latter into its sheath still at the small of his back. And then without another word, went straight to the bathroom to take care of business.

He washed his hands and stared at his face in the mirror. "Ugh, look at that." He washed his face gingerly, knowing he was going to be black and blue in the morning. Well, it was his fault for threatening her.

Returning to the main room, he went to try the door. It was locked. Obviously she had taken precautions. Although she'd made the mistake of re-arming him. He scowled as he saw she had claimed the bed and she was out cold.

He moved gingerly to sit on the far end of the bed, as far from her as possible, and then carefully crept until he was all the way on. The bed dipped a little under his weight, and he held his breath to see if she wakened. He saw the cord around her neck and then sighed. It would do no good to break out of here anyway. They'd be stuck together until she found what she was looking for. Whatever that was.

He perused the cabin for a bit, looking for that map she carried, wondering if there were any clues to it. Barring finding the map, he would just sprawl out on the floor and sleep like a good little captive.

Korra had stuck the map on the desk at the far end of the room. She moved slightly as the bed dipped under his wieght but she didnt wake.
On the map, she had circled the Golden Crown Island and there were several other islands crossed out. She had drawn an arrow that pointed to Golden Crown and written the name Kyro.

He looked at the map and frowned. "Kyro? Who the heck is Kyro?"

Still, he found a pen and marked their original location with a star. The last place he had known where they were. If they were aiming for Golden Crown Island, however, they had a few days' journey ahead of them. Assuming they were heading in the right direction.

He flipped open his pocket watch and looked it over. There was a compass on the top portion of it, and he looked back down at the map. Until he saw the stars or the landmarks, he woudn't be able to guess if they were heading the right way.

He sighed and left his pocket watch, compass displayed, on the map. Until Korra woke up, he'd be stuck. He returned to the closet to grab a couple of clothing items before making his own bed on the floor. He was out a few minutes later.

And by morning he would have a nice coloration to his nose.

Korra woke up late in the morning and she got up quickly. Excited to be on her way and then she remember Daryn. Looking around, she saw him on the floor and left him there to sleep. Seeing his pocket watch, she picked it up and put it in her pocket. Then she grabbed her map and unlocked the roomm leaving to go to the control room.
She had saw a compass on his watch so she opened it up and looked at the map. Turning the ship due north, she watched the skies pass by and smiled at being back on something flying. She had left an apple next to Daryn's head so he could eat something.

He woke to find an apple beside him. He scowled and grabbed it, biting into the fruit as he looked around. She was gone and so was his pocket watch. What was with her and taking his stuff? He ate quickly as he found the door unlocked and then peered out.

Where was she? Not finding her around the bend, he realized she was in the control room. Well, that apple really wasn't going to settle his stomach. He set off down the hallway, aiming for the belly of the ship where the goods were supplied. He'd grab a couple of rations from their newly-stocked supplies--pity he was the only one who could enjoy them.

Hopefully she hadn't gone and gotten them lost in the meantime. But even if she did, he could probably get them unlost. Eventually. He found the crates of supplies and began to sort through it for the flight rations.

Korra was still tired and had fallen asleep at the wheel. Leaning over it, the wind picked up and turned the ship west as well as turning the wheel. It off balanced her body and she turned the wheel sharply, falling to the floor. The wheel spinned and spinned until it couldnt anymore, Korra waking up as she hit the floor.
But she didnt stop the wheel in time and the ship crashed into a nearby terra, sending Korra sliding across the room and into the wall. Hitting her head, she groaned and rubbed it opening her eyes. Everything was a little blurry at first but soon cleared up.
"Crap..Daryn is gonna kill me.." she muttered.
Wait! Since when did she start caring what he thought?!

He'd just grabbed several sets of air rations when the ship pitched to the side, turning sharply. "What is she doing?" he wondered, just as the ship shuddered. They'd just hit something.

He sprinted for the control room and barged through it in time to see Korra on the ground and the wheel spinning. "What the hell are you doing?" He demanded, dropping the rations and heading for the wheel. He turned off the autopilot and hit a few switches before pulling a couple of chains that hung over the wheel.

The ship began to stabilize as Daryn got them back on course. He turned back to Korra. "Are you okay? What happened?"

Korra stood up as quickly as she could when he came in. Then looked at the floor as her demanded to know what she was doing.
"Sorry Daryn. I fell asleep i didnt mean to though," she said and rubbed the back of her head again.
The walls were harder than her head for sure. To go along witht he apology, she picked up the rations he had brought in then handed them to him. She acted like a five year old getting scolded then she walked out of the control room. Going back to the captain's room, she picked up her bag of tools and went to find the engine room. She was a great mechanic, it was something her dad had taught her to do. Checking all the meters and engines to make sure they were running properly, she found a slight leak and got under one of the machines. Already sweating from the heat in the room, she got to work on patching up the leak.

He scowled and then watched her leave. He softened a little after the fact, muttering under his breath. "Really, pirates who can't read maps, and fall asleep behind the wheel. What is so important about this thing that she's risking both our lives and the ship?"

His blood ran cold suddenly and his hands froze on the wheel. As a Petty Officer 2nd Class he shouldn't be helping her. Doing so was akin to treason. And he didn't want to be like his father--that good for nothing hangdog. His hand went to a pocket inside his vest and he pulled out the medallion. He stuffed it away again, blinking his eyes hard.

He shouldn't be helping her. He began to turn the wheel, heading back the way they had come...

Korra fixed the leak as soon as she felt the ship turning. That wasnt right.. Quickly, she slid out from under the machine and ran upstairs. She shoved Daryn away from the wheel and frantically turned it the other way. She didnt have time for this! They could kill Kyro at any minute and she had no one else in her life.
"What are doing?! I leave to fix a leak for five minutes and i cant even trust you enough to keep us on a straight course!" she snapped at him and started tearing up but not because of all this.
All the thoughts of someone killing Kyro had started to make her feel lonely. If there was anything she hated most, it was being alone.

Shoved to the side like an object, he took an extra step and spun, prepared to lash out at Korra with his own tirade--when he saw her on the verge of tears.

"Wh-what am I doing? I'm trying not to get accused of treason. What are you doing and why is Kyro so important to you?" He jabbed his hand at the map. "Why are you so insistent on getting there? I'm an airshipman, I can't be cavorting around on wild escapades all day! My crew will probably have already called in a search party for us--it's just a matter of time before they find us."

The ship wasn't unknown, in fact, there was a pretty good chance their moves were being tracked. Especially since one of the switches Daryn had flicked on earlier was a tracking beacon.
