Blair had strolled into the classroom just in time to hear the noise resonate towards the back of the room. She flinched, mostly out of surprise. She blinked a couple times, and turned her attention towards the source of the sound.

She spotted Nori in the back, the muscles in his right arm seeming to spasm uncontrollably. He was doing his best to hide it by gripping his wrist to keep his arm from waving wildly or hitting the desk again. Judging by the amount of students looking in his direction, though, hiding it wasn't doing much good.

She arched a brow at the strange sight, frozen in place for a second or two. She could only watch the veins straining against the boy's skin and the flexing muscle in a mix of fascination and just a touch of horror. She wasn't sure what was going on in the slightest, and she began contemplating if she should question him or not.

Others continued to stare as well as the scene continued, and the guy suddenly stood up once it lasted more than just a few seconds, heading for the door without meeting the gaze of any of his fellow students. As he was still gripping his wrist, he didn't have the option of taking his things out with him.

Mat noticed the slight panic on Nori's face and the way he had become the uncomfortable center of attention. On a whim, he stood tall in front of his classmate's desk and waved his arms about as if in excitement, "Hey guys! I just got word that we're supposed to have a snowstorm later today! You know what that means?" At the class' blank stares he emphasized, "School's out, you bimbos!" With that, he threw a quick prayer to whatever deity was listening that perhaps the possibility of no school would prove to be an adequate distraction. Seeing the girl from earlier, he shot her a pleading look.

Whatever the class's reactions to Mat's "announcement" were, it at least was effective at drawing some attention away from Nori as he exited the room. Though he didn't seem to, he appreciated the distraction.

Blair's attention snapped to the boy she had met earlier, staring in surprise at the sudden turn of attention. She caught his eyes, and identified the cry for help. With her eyebrows raised, she let her shock hold her in place for five seconds before she made her next move. One, two, three...four...five. She sprang into action, casually leaning up against the door frame with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Yeah, haven't you guys heard? It's already starting to get colder outside." She spoke smoothly, as though the confirmation of an upperclassman would make it more accurate. As soon as she made her statement, she gestured for the boy to grab the other boy's things and to follow her.

Nori slipped out the door as she spoke, quickly heading down the hall toward an unoccupied alcove near the end of it, all the while attempting to casually keep his spasming arm out of view. The halls were almost empty by now, as classes were moments away from beginning.

Mat picked up the other boy's property and sent a thankful look towards the girl. He raced out the door after Nori and Blair, trying to make himself seem smaller in order to avoid drawing any further attention.

Nori quickly had himself settled on a bench in the alcove, ignoring anyone around him. There were fewer people out here in the hall to stare than in the classroom, but there were still a few. Rather than worry about people not minding their own business, Nori focused on trying to get his arm muscles back under control.

She broke out into a half-jog to follow the strange boy. Her eyebrows were furrowed, still reeling over the odd sight of his spasming arm. She threw a couple of glances over her shoulder to ensure the other boy was keeping up with her. When they had reached the alcove, she slowed to a stop.
Blair exhaled heavily before slowly approaching the boy. She wasn't quite sure what to say, so she spoke what first came to her mind: "Um, hey... Buddy... Pal... Do you, uh, need some help with that?"

"I'm fine." Nori responded tersely, not looking up. "I appreciate you trying to help, but you should get back if you don't want to be late, class is starting."

"Frankly, we don't exactly care much about class," Mat began, a slightly irritated look crossing his face. "Excuse us for putting health above useless facts." He set the other boys supplies gently on the ground beside him before crouching down to look him in the eye. Deadly serious, he spoke,"If there's something either of us can do to help, tell us."

Nori only met Mat's eye for a moment before looking away. He seemed to be a bit uncomfortable with their presence. "It just happens sometimes, it's not a big deal. It'll stop in a couple minutes."

Blair scoffed at the boy, quirking one brow in disbelief. "'It just happens sometimes'? Seriously? Dude, that can't be healthy. You need to go see a doctor or something. What, are you on drugs or something?" She demanded incredulously. She knelt down as well, but to get a better view of the boy's arm. It certainly wasn't like anything she had ever seen before.

Mat nodded in agreement to Blair and gave Nori a deep visual inspection. The darkly-tinted sunglasses made this difficult, however, and he instead went to gently grab the quivering arm. Perhaps he could gain knowledge of how to help if he could feel how bad it was.

"I'm not on drugs." He snapped immediately, and pulled his arm away from Blair. "They're just muscle spasms, they'll go away. It isn't a big deal. And I don't need to see a doctor."
Though he pulled it away from her, she could see the muscles under his skin twitching and flexing seemingly of their own volition, and definitely would have been sending his arm wild if Nori wasn't holding it still. The second Mat touched Nori's arm, the boy yanked it away again, more violently than when Blair had just been looking at it.

Blair sighed, glancing down at the dirty tile floors for a moment before holding her hands up, almost in an 'I surrender' gesture. "Alright, alright. Let's all just calm down for a second." She declared.
Her eyes turned up to Nori's, her lips pursed into a thin line. A couple seconds of silence passed as her gaze uncharacteristically softened. "Listen dude," she spoke quietly, "you gotta promise that you're fine. Because if there really is something wrong, just say the word, and we can get you help."

He clenched his teeth. "I told you, I'm fine. It's happened since I was little." He growled. "It'll go away in a couple minutes. It really isn't a big deal. Go back to class."

Mat silently thanked Blair, his shoulders losing tension and arm lowering. His voice calmed into something gentler as he nodded, "We may not know you, but whatever you need, we can get it."
