Hello RP Repository!
I recently discovered this lovely site and could not help but sign up. Please forgive my general cluelessness and confusion |D. I love roleplaying all sorts of styles and genres. Adventure, fantasy, academy and paranormal are my favorites~
Specifically I love playing group roleplays, one-on-ones, paragraph, multi-paragraph, single line, and chat types! Though I'm afraid my forum-game is still pretty subpar, I'd like to get better. I also enjoy drawing my own characters and any funny shenanigans they may have with others (given the owner's permission).
Finally, I'd like to ask any wiser players out there, how do you recommend getting acquainted with everyone here as an unknown newcomer?

Don't worry about the cluelessness, I believe is a common initial condition at this point in the site xD However, once again, don't worry about it! RPR mechanics are easy, I'm sure you'll get the hand of them in no time.
As for aquanintances, the easiest thing is to make a general search thread on the forums, or participating on a lot of them :'D, if not there are also the discussion and chat forums as well! But regardless, making an introduction thread is already a great first step xD

Welcome to RPR! A great way to talk to people right away is to pop onto the Just Talkin' thread and hit the big launch chat button. That will turn the thread into a real time chat, and this is RPR's official OOC chat area. Hope you make lots of new friends here

Hey, welcome to the site, Rui! If I can call you that, lolol. I'm Rin. I was just as confused and clueless at first, but it's easy to get the hang of things here so don't worry. 
I love to draw too and so do a lot of other people here. I personally like how you colored your character, Vakir!
As for getting acquianted and making friends, I agree with Coronel's suggestion. It's a friendly community, as you can see, so don't be afraid to chat people too if they pique your interest or have anything in common with them.
