"Yeah.", she frowned, imagining not being around anymore.

He kissed her cheek and stood as the bell rang, "I'll walk you to your locker."

"Alright.", Nikita says, standing up and looking toward the door.

He walke through the hall with his arm over her shoulder, wondering if any of her friends had figured it out yet.

Nikita already knew a couple of her friends had figured it out. She smiled as her friend asked, "Are you guys dating?" "Yeah, we are.", she answers, looking up at Nomti.

Tha jackal just smiled and playfully kissed Nikita's ear, "Alright, I'll see you at lunch," he grinned.

Nikita also smiled, "Alright." She sat through her classes until lunch. She got her food and sat down, waiting for Nomti.

Nomti arrived a few minutes later and sat next to Nikita, smiling happily.

Nikita's tail wagged and her ears perked up. She smiled as Nomti sat down next to her.

He kissed her cheek, "How were your classes?"

"Boring.", she said, "As always." She smiled at Nomti,"Yours?" she asked.

"Ditto," he smiled and started eating.

When Nikita finished eating, had had around 5-10 minutes left to talk or whatever. Lunch today was very quiet, even at her table, which was weird.

Nomti smiled and put an arm over her shoulder before looking around, "Anyone got anything to say?"

No one said anything, "I guess not.", she says, then looks around, "That's strange."

"No jokes? Nothing?"

"Hey,have you noticed that about half of my friends aren't here?" She asked, looking around. They had all skipped today, and begged Nikita to come, but she wouldn't.

"Now that you mention it... Yeah. What's up with that?"

"They skipped to go to a monster truck rally tonight.", she says. She was going tonight, but there was no use in skipping school for something that was tonight.
