(sure)
Nomti grunted slightly in his sleep as he had a nightmare about the shooting. He had tried to jump in front of a bullet for Nikita... And it went through him then killed her, but he didn't die, and when she did, he for some reason didn't care.
The jackal woke in a cold sweat and sat straight up then held his head in his hands.

(Well if that's how you really feel Nomti! Just kidding, I hope he doesn;t really feel that way, even if it was a dream. )
The next morning, Nikita woke up, back at home. "Wha-?", she asked, looking around. She got out of bed, quickly showering and getting dressed to go see Nomti. She grabs her keys, pulling out onto the road. She flicks on the radio, turning it up slightly. She tried not to think too much of her father, yet he was continuously gnawing at the back of her mind.

(X3 no, he doesn't actually feel that way. It was a nightmare)
Nomti Sat there and cried softly, just wanting to hold Nikita. He shook his head.

A few minutes later, Nikita pulled into the hospital parking lot. She turned off her car, getting out and quickly locking the door. She walked to the front desk, looking at the nurse there. She got permission to go visit Nomti. She hurried up to his room, knocking on the door softly.
He had stopped crying by this point and was eating the cereal that had been brought to him,
"Come in," he said softly and set down his cereal.
"Come in," he said softly and set down his cereal.
Nikita slowly opened the door, "Hey.", she said quietly, her voice a little hoarse. She sat down in the chair by Nomti's bed, "Did I interrupt your breakfast?", she asks, nodding to the cereal.
"Hi," he smiled softly at her. "What's wrong?" he asked, ignoring the question about his breakfast and he patted the spot on the bed next to him, hoping she would at least sit close to him.
Nikita shrugged, I'm fine.", she avoided the urge to cough, sitting down on the bed where Nomti had motioned. "How are you doing?", she asked, laying her keys down on the table beside the bed.
"I'm better," he shrugged and sat up, wrapping an arm around Nikita, "Just tell me what's wrong..."
Nikita surprisingly felt uneasy when Nomti wrapped his arm around her. It was only because he was trying to get her to tell her feelings. She sighs heavily, looking away, "Just some problems with my mom... I wasn't at home last night.", she said, which technically wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the whole truth.
"Where'd you go?" he asked worriedly, "What happened?"
"Why does he keep pushing?", Nikita asked herself, "I went into the city.", she reguarded the second question. Nomti avoided her questions... She had a right to avoid his.
"Why does who keep pushing?" Nomti asked quietly then realized she was talking about him and he looked away, "It's because I'm worried about you Nikita... Because you're my girlfriend and I care about you more than anyone... That's why I'm pushing..."
Nikita gave a small sigh. She shouldn't keep things from Nomti, but she really didn't have much of a story. "I'm sorry...", she began, "I just kind of went into the city, driving around to clear my head. I guess I kind of got turned around and my car ran out of gas. It was only about five minutes from a gas station so I got out and locked my car, keeping the keys as I walked there. I got the gas I needed, bringing it back to the car. I guess I caught something from the cold. Which explains why I 'm hoarse and all...", she gives a sigh, closing her eyes for a minute.
He just nodded, "Why would you keep something like that from me? I'm not mad, just worried... I don't want you to get hurt."
"I figured you'd disapprove and tell me that I shouldn't have done that... I know I shouldn't have, but I just needed time to be alone and think. I mean, I'm going through a lot of stress as of now but it will be over it soon and back to completely normal.", she flashed Nomti a hopeful smile.
He looked down sadly, his tall ears turned back with sadness, "No... It will never be the same..." he said quietly, "People at our school got shot and killed... People we know... Your dad... Your dad is dead," he said and hugged her tight, "We can try... But it will never be the same... The only thing I can promise wont change is me and you."
Nikita wiped away as single tear, hugging Nomti back, careful not to hit his wound. "We can at least pretend.", she whispered, but then said aloud, "That will never change.", she says, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Pretending won't change anything," he said and just held her as tight as he could, his chin resting on her shoulder.
Nikita sighed, looking toward the door, then back at the wall. She laid her head gently against Nomti's.
"I'll just be happy when you get out of here and there is no more pain.", she says softly.
