He smiled sadly and wrapped his arm around her, "A few more days..." he said quietly then took a deep breath.
"N-Nikita... I... I love you," he said and tensed his body in preperation for any kind of reprimanding.

Nikita's eyes widened in shock. It took her a moment to speak. "Nomti, I love you too.", Nikita tried to sound confident but her voice had that shakiness to it that everyone got admitting their first love. "Forever and always.", She said in a whisper, kissing Nomti softly.

He blushed bright pink when she said it too and his entire body relaxed. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her gently, "Always and forever."

Nikita pulled back after a moment, also blushing a bit. She swallowed hard, not knowing what to say now. "Promise?", She asked. It was cheesy, but she just had to know. She had felt Nomti's body relax, but had just thought about it. She didn't say anything though.

"I promise," he smiled as much as he could and held her tightly.

Nikita smiled brightly, laying her head against Nomti's shoulder again.

Nomti gently squeezed her. He just say there contently, lightly stroking her arm.
