"I've gotta get to chemistry. When's your lunch period?"

"Right after science.", she answered. Her ears twitched as the captain of the football team walked up to them. "Hey Nikita.", he said. She just rolled her eyes and looked at Nomti

The captain was a bull, and by anyones standards, a handsome one.
"My lunch is at the same time... I guess I have seen you there a few times but I payed you no mind," he shrugged.

"Oh. I usually just sat at the loudest table, with all my friends.", she said. By now the football captain had walked away when Nikita ignored him. After science, Nikita went to lunch and waited for Nomti.

Nomti arrived, carrying his lunch tray and scanned the room for Nikita.

"Over here.", she said, waving her hand to him. She patted the seat next to her.

He smiled and took his seat next to Nikita, his ears a bit perked up at seeing her.

Her tail started wagging, "Hey. I can't wait until dismissal. Weekend here we come!", she said excitedly.

"I have nothing planned and it's awesome," Nomti chuckled and took a bite of his pizza.

Nikita also laughed and said, "Me either." She took a bite of her food.

Nomti sat quietly through the rest of lunch, simply listening to Nikita's friends. He knew several of them were wondering why he was there but he ignored them.

After lunch, Nikita finished the rest of her classes and went out to her car and waited to see Nomti.

Nomti didn't see Nikita this time and he was talking with a friend as he got onto the bus.

Nikita got in het car and drove away toward her house.

Nomti only realized he didnt have Nikita's number when he got home and was about to call her that evening, or even text her. He frowned and thought hard but couldn't think of anyone who might have her number.

Nikita luckily had Nomti's number. She had gotten it from the school nur, It's Nikita."se, and texted him. She said, "Hey

"Oh, hi," he texted back, "I was just looking 4 ure number."

"Oh, I got urs from the nurse at school.", she texted back.

"Cool. U wanna hang out l8r?"

"Sure. Where at?", She replied.
