Welcome, young child! You have been recruited to the Orphanage simply because you have no family. Doesn't matter how you ended up without one, being abandonment, passed away, or you killed them! Nonetheless, you are here now, in good hands. Do not worry, we will take good care of you! Just try not to be too out of control, or we will probably have to execute you. ^^
Rules:
1. You can be any age you want.
2. You don't have to be related to anyone here, you were just recruited.
3. You may start romances, just not with biological siblings.
4. Violence and minor harsh language is allowed.
5. Powers are allowed.
6. We need as many caretakers/nanny's as we can get, feel free to be one!
7. You can have a back story leading up to the Orphanage.
8. Have fun! (How cliche.)

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
