This was supposed to be one of the best experiences ever. 18, not even quite out of high school, and Ari was able to go on a real life archaeological expedition?! There was no way she could turn that down!
Of course, she very much wished she could go back and turn the invitation down when some genius unleashed an ancient curse in the temple they were researching! Now, completely cut off from civilization and having become some sort of animal-human hybrid along with the rest of the crew, as well as being among the only ones that didn't go completely insane during their transformations, Ari and anyone else still sane that haven't been mauled to death by a crazed researcher need to make it through the South American jungle without getting killed by the increasingly weird, alien, and deadly flora and fauna that the curse is slowly warping and spreading, and hopefully find a way to make themselves human again in the process!
...Not a very encouraging situation.
Roleplay open to any character you think could feasibly fit the setting without breaking it too much, but if the character does not already have an anthropomorphic/animal-like form, please come up with the form that they'll take from the curse and send a pic. 1x1 RP preferred, option of MxF or FxF romance. PM me if interested!

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

Ok cool. I have a few characters I could use for this, though few of them are naturally human. I could use Austin or Violet Grey, if not both and they would have been normal humans without any powers for this rp. I could use AU versions of Leslie, Katherine, and Roxie, as fellow interns, and could probably use AU versions of Torez Grimm, Pezvhak, or Wilhelm Lupen as supervisors, archaeologists, or regular people caught up in the problem. Leaning more towards using Violet and Austin or Torez.
