So I wonder, are there any other TNG fans on here? It would also be nice to find fans of DS9 and VOY.
I've had this idea for a while now thanks to some encouragement from a friend, and I thought I'd give it a try! What if some of the episodes of TNG had been different somehow? For instance, what if "Ensigns of Command" (season 3, episode 2) centered around a planet full of people on the frontlines of the Federation-Cardassian War? At times, maybe the inclusion of our characters could affect an otherwise unaltered plot, as was the case for a roleplay revisiting "Evolution" (season 3, episode 1). There's just so many possibilities and opportunities to work with!
This time, I really want to revisit "Ensigns of Command" first via RP, with a plot involving Cardassians, Section 31 and about 10,000 colonists with a legacy to carry. I loved the original episode, but after learning about the Cardassians in season 4, I always wanted to see the war between Cardassia and the Federation played out on screen. So here's that chance!
Anybody up for it? We could play OCs and equally divide control of canon characters, if you'd like. Most of the focus should be on our OCs and what they do during these episodes though.
