Z smiles at the girl, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her in closer to him.
"You tired, doll?" He asks her in a teasing yet sentimental manner.

Scarlett nods as she yawns and nustles into him more, securing herself in his arms as the sun receded I to the sky and night draws closer.

"A bit..."

Heather) *she fell asleep in front of Scarlett and zed so she could protect them if anything happened and her wings were around her so she was very warm*

Z gives a warm smile to the girl, hugging her tighter as she nuzzles into his arms.
"Don't worry," he says.
"I'll be your pillow to rest on." He finishes, giving her a small smile.

Scarlett smiles up at him and nods, getting comfortable leaning against him as she closes her eyes pulls her knees up so her feet were on the branch.

"Make sure the kids are ok...."

She says before falling asleep.

Heather) *was sleeping huddled up in her wings next to Scarlett and zed*

Z nodded at the girl, and looked around, seeing Iyu and Raven talking to each other quietly. After a while, he notices Iyu falls asleep on Raven's lap. She smiles lightly and runs her hand down his hair, then falls asleep herself next to him.
He smiles and looks over to Heather, who is fast asleep next to him and Scarlett, with her wings providing her warmth.
Z looks over at Scarlett, seeing she's asleep as well. He decides to keep watch until the morning, meaning he'll pull an all-nighter.
It's not like he was tired anyways.

Heather) *wakes up that night hearing something*

Z looks over at Heather and notices she wakes up due to the sound.
He motions over to her and takes his arm off Scarlett, making sure she doesn't wake.
"Did you hear that too?" He whispers to her.

Val looked at Zed and Heather. "It's a guard." She whispered as she watched the guards movement. "I'll handle him if you want."

Scarlett barley notices a shift in her moving, and she rubs her eyes sleepily before cracking one open and looking at z.

"Hon....everything ok...???"

Va looked at Scarlett and shook her head. "Theirs a guard." She whispered to Scarlett. Val knew she shouldn't be helping them escape but she didn't care.

Z shook his head at Val.
"Just stay quiet for now. If he gets too close, then you can take him." He said.
"And Jesus, how do you wake up so lightly?" He asked Scarlett.
"Look at Iyu, he's fast asleep." He said, snickering at the young boy.

Scarlett thinks for a moment, before giving up and shrugging since she was still mostly asleep. She snuggles into him some more and closes her eyes.

"It's a secret of the trade..."

Val gagged a little because she could clearly see they loved each other and she shook her head. "Gross." She whispered as she jumped down from the tree and knocked out the guard and hid him in the bush.

Z snickers as Val practically throws up due to Scarlett's affection for him.
He lifts up Scarlett's chin, meeting her eyes, followed with him giving her a kiss.
"Too bad, Val. You'll just have to live with our love."

Scarlett looks at him wide eyed as he lifts her. Hi up and kisses her. she just smiles and pulls him closer, kissing him passionately before snuggling into him again and closing her eyes.

"Try to get some sleep....we can talk about how Jean escaped tomorrow.."

Z nods, as he wraps his arm around Scarlett's waist, and laying his head on her shoulder.
"Dispite our height difference, this is an oddly comfortable position." He said, smiling at her.
He gives her another small kiss before closing his eyes.
"Night.." He whispered, before dozing off.
