The sort of thing I am up for is a world that Eli, my multi-dimensional Time jumper can enter. there could be some sort of conflict that he has to solve before he can leave. Think of Doctor Who, for those who know the franchise: Any time, Anywhere, he can be there.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
I have a couple of new characters and they have this sort of back story that goes along with them. Hansel and Gretel are twins, but Gretel is extremely demented and after a storm a year ago, they disappeared. Hansel finally shows up alone one day but he's changed somehow in a way he can't tell anyone else.

They used to live in a convent until a huge storm came through. After the storm, a woman was found dead and the two disappeared. Hansel was taken in by a man who owns a tavern after he turned up again.

An rp between Eli and Joseph seems interesting. Perhaps the focus should be on the fact that no one knows how Jospeh does what he does?

Humans are now to other races in the universe what we thought they were, the latest model of human belong however comes in the form of a girl around the same age as your character whom now has the largest intellect in that universe. Only when SMS shows signs of having emotions she is thought to be defective, and just when their about to destroy her, your character shows up.
