The world was crazy... It was near its end. Scientists from the government were ordering the military to bring young citizens for certain science experiments. Whatever it was about would bring nothing good. One certain thing about the people taken were that they were forced to go, and that no one returned from the labatories alive. No one even knew where they were located in. There was a "male", no...
A female dressed in the clothings of a man to hide herself from the lunatic government. For some reason they wanted Ikiru. Ikiru had lived all her life as a male, hiding herself from the world since the time she was born. Her mother has always taught her how to live as an opposite gender, and after she was killed; after telling Ikiru the history of her father...
Ikiru was alone, and she had to hide from the government. Why were they looking for her?
She was in a dark alley, trying not to be noticed.
She had short red hair that reached up to her neck. Of course, in order to be seen as a male she had to cut it. She didn't feel awkward to be dressed as a male anymore.
... Those years were too much to be forgotten.
"I feel completely adapted to this now..ha."
Ikiru sighed and leaned her head against the wall of the alley and closed her violet eyes, shutting it tight.

Kuro couldn't believe what kind of hell the world was going to, experimenting on people to keep them alive. She didn't understand it, she had already been experimented on, she didn't want to go through it again. Someone had grabbed her arm and said "Come with me miss." But that was all she needed to yank her arm away and run for her life. She found an alley nearby but far enough for the guy to not find her. She ran into it and waited for the guy to pasted. "Damn... I'm not going to be someone else's lab rat..." She muttered to herself, hating that this is what the world had come too. The guy pass the alley without noticing her in the least bit. She had bright black hair bright red bangs that hung a little over her two toned eyes. She peeked out of the alley to make sure the guy was gone before pressuring her back against the wall and sighed in relief. "That was too close..." She mumbled.
Ikiru's eyes were still closed, until she heard some sounds that she assumed were coming from someone being chased. "...Again... It continued today like the same." She mumbled to herself in a low voice but still kept her eyes shut. She hoped that she wouldn't get noticed by anyone around, of course the scientists and government were to be avoided but Ikuru wasn't the type to be around too many people. She had to be cautious. Her life was meant to be cautious and full of danger.
Kuro hadn't noticed what looked like a guy sitting down on the other side of the alley away from her. "You hidding as well?" She usually wasn't the one to strict up a conversation with someone but she was always ready to make a new ally. More so in this type of world. Right now she didn't care weather anyone overheard that she was an escaped science experiment that went right, right now she was only trying to not get caught.
"..." With silence answering, Ikiru slowly opened one of her eyes. "...I guess I am." She silently muttered. After a few seconds she quickly scanned the other female with her eyes "... How are you still alive" She added as if she knew about the science experiment on the person. "...None of the people ever came out alive from those labatories."
"I didn't come from those labs..." Kuro knew about how people never came back from the labtories unless by some mircale they got away before they were possibly killed. She was a science experiment, yes, but from these labtories, no. She came from Tokoyo, Japan in the Sakuranbo labtory. She was made a science experiment and escaped as one and she always said "I'll be damned before I go back to being someone's lab rat." when someone asked why she wouldn't go back and leave the chaos of it behind.
"No, huh..." Still with the calm and silent reply, Ikiru finally opened both of her violet eyes. "How'd you manage to escape" She asked. "...You got any family or friends?"
Ikiru didn't get why she was asking things like that to a stranger. She was pretty sure that she didn't sound too cold or anything, but still the female in front of her was just someone that she had just met. She was a stranger. Why was she asking personal questions like that? Ikiru sighed inwards.

"I got some friends but none around here I believe, no family." The person Kuro said was her brother wasn't blood related to her or related to her in anyway but by last name. She was made with mulitpe different human genes and too many to shrink it to just two main people. "What about you?" She asked the other person, trying to disctrat herself from her memories as they raced through her mind.
"..Me."
Ikiru was silent upon the question.
"...Me, huh...It's no use asking me, I've got nothing intersting to talk about, honestly." She has always lived her life hidden, mysterious, unnoticed by many others. She has somewhat a memory worth of calling "painful", but Ikiru didn't seem as if she wanted to accept that fact. She seemed as if her heart had turned into icy stone after the experience she had, and the shock of what she had learned; the "truth". She never said anything out loud, didn't do anything... Yet.
She stared up at the sky.
"...Dim and nothing at all."

"Really? I mean, there has to be something in your life worth saying. Just look at me, I'm an escaped science experiment from a labtory in Japan and still on the run. And now I'm still fighting to keep what little freedom I have." She usually wasn't so outspoken about her history, people usually had to weed it out her, bit by bit. Right now, she was seeing it for what it is; the past, it belongs there and it is going to stay there. People could think what they want about it but she would still fight for life.
" All I leanred that is worth speaking so someone else is that-"
"..."
Ikiru paused for a moment then spoke again.
"Nothing is worth more than a life.
She continued,
"... Everyone is born with a life that they should be able to live freely,
not being controlled
Not being used by an other's own useless ambitions."
She spat on the ground then looked down.
"...Disgusing bastards..."
"..."

Kuro smriked slightly. "Tell that to the goverment. I don't see what they are doing to 'help' all of us if we end up hidding for our lives. It doesn't make sense...." She mumbled the last part, thinking of why the world has gone to this, why everyone was becoming lab rats and dying. It all didn't make sense to her, not at all.
"They kill the ones who refust to go with them to the damn labatory." Ikiru said
"But they treat the ones who work in the labatory and the government like god."
Ikiru's tone of voice seemed very nauseated to be speaking the "truth" in the "fake" world.
"It's not worth having to be persecuted for."

"It's not worth having to be persecuted for."
Kuro nodded. "That is very true. Nothing is worse than being treated as someone's test subject. It all hurts no matter what and there is nothing to stop it but escape or death."
"...And my father was one of the "godly" treated worker of the labatory."
Ikiru spoke suddenly, not showing a hint of change of her expression.
"One of the disgusting dogs in the government."
Ikiru spoke suddenly, not showing a hint of change of her expression.
"One of the disgusting dogs in the government."
"At least he didn't bring you to them or you would be dead." Kuro mumbled, she heard foot steps coming and kept quiet until a large group of soliders passed the alley. One of them she knew but she made no move to get them noticed but glare at the soliders moved on.
She spoke silently.
"...He got killed by them"
Then her mouth was squeezed shut as if she was meaning that she is not saying any more of the history of her and her family.

"Most people do..." Kuro stood up as the very last solider was gone. She peeked out of the alley to see if anyone was coming before deciding she should get back to on the move.
...You don't know what happened, don't say as if every result has to be the same." Ikiru's violet eyes were cold as she looked side to the other side of the alley. She stood up.
Kuro shrugged. "I know one thing is for sure. That this has to end." with that she took off to another dark alley only to reapper on the roof top.
