Rosie is only an 8 year old girl but her blood carries a wonderful magic that allows her to freely change her form into that of a scarlet ibis, a very rare bird often hunted because of it's bright color and beautiful feathers.
this is only my second role play request so bear with me.
my idea here is that perhaps Rosie was flying and a hunter spotted her and attempted to take her down but missed yet in her panic she got turned around and eventually completely lost, having flown a very long way away from her home she attempts to land and find out how to get back home.
YC see's her change shape and is awestruck but this frightens Rosie as she was taught never to let anyone see her change but knowing this may be her only way home she accepts the help, eventually it becomes obvious something is wrong...the little girl knows too much or too little and come to find out she accidentally traveled through time (forwards or backwards is up to anyone who wants to role play) YC either says they know a way to help or offers to let Rosie stay until she can return to her own time and though she eventually will/does, what she does until then is unknown...this will be more of an adventure.

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.

Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
