After it was dead, she backs away, her eyes red

She looks up at him and hugs him around the neck still crying

Allec pat her back "there there is gonna be okay"

She stopped crying. "I was thinking of all the possible things he could have done to me then I remembered something in a history book I read. That man was Skylar, taker of women, and not taker as in kidnap."

" Now that explains everything! Wait that wolf!" as Allec turned the wolf was gone" But it was there..."

"I know I saw. Lets go I don't like it here." She looks around and saw that the people were gone and it was just them.

"Yeah you probably right" it was night that Allec and Amber rent into an inn

She walked in their "lobby" and went to the inn keeper.

Inside the inn filled with men and women having a good time drinking "Hey how about a little drink to build the mood up"

"Okay." She shrugged

She follows them quietly, staying hidden

Allec order a mug of ale for them that he chug and was amazed by the taste " Man this is different from the beer in our world"

She chugged it to. "I wouldn't know."

Allec finish it and orders another "Think you can keep up with meh?"

"Maybe." She grabbed it and chugged

"Hey bartender two more for me" She served it as Allec chugged on it

"Wow. You are insane." She chugged another one.

" Up for a challenge little miss?" ALlec smirk that he drink and order 3 more

She sits and watches, camouflaged so nobody could see her

Val watched Amber and Allec and shook her head. She didn't understand what kids found in puny challenges. Val only understood challenges to the death because that's all she ever did until she had to come to this world. She continued watching them closely trying to see why they thought this was fun.
