Dean went into the fridge to see if they had any beer.

She finished and tied the ponytail around it.

Setting two omelets on two separate plates, Moon Drop goes back to make the next two.

She growls and tries again, this time not being scratched

Amber gets up an walks to the bedroom to grab her backpack and repack.

Dean sits at the table.

It wasn't long before the shade finished their breakfast. Each of the three plates had three omelets on them, steaming.

(I said Sam should make a move)

Dean smiled. "Thank you."

Amber walked back in and smiled at the shade. "Smells good."

Lauret: "Good... But you have to be perfect. Didn't that lab teach you anything about fighting?"
She snarls, her eyes flickering red "You don't mention that place! Ever!"
Lauret: "Seems I hit a nerve with that one... Oops."
She snarls and jumps at Lauret, not hesitating to kill, and able to claws his shoulder. He doesn't move and just turns toward her, biting her neck and pinning her down
Lauret: "...Don't try to attack me, Kora. You will always fail..." He turns and starts walking away. Kora stands, breathing heavily from the bite wound around her neck. Noticing the bite was mostly hidden by bloody fur, she only had the scratch on her muzzle that they would notice. She gets up slowly and starts walking back to the hotel

Sam sat and smiled. "Thanks."

Moon nodded once, picking up her book and heading toward the living room so the three could eat.

She gets back to the hotel and walks slowly to the corner of the room, the claw mark across her muzzle obvious and matted, bloodied fur around her neck

Drop, having sat back in the couch, noticed Kora. "You okay?"

"Uh... Yeah, I'm great..." She lays down, blood dripping from her wounds

"I can fix it."

"NO- I mean, uh, no, it's fine..."
Thinks: <If my wounds are already healed by tomorrow, it'll be obvious that someone else was helping me... Lauret would only punish me again for not being able to take care of myself...>

The shade didn't push, knowing certain creatures prefer scars to show their accomplishments and battles they've won.

She lays her head down, the bite wound bleeding badly, but she ignores it and tries to rest

"I can at least stop the bleeding, but keep the wound open, or just stop the pain."
