It's dark and the sky is crystal clear showing off a diamond specked expanse. Every constellation visible and available to the naked eye. In a clearing near the edge of a wooded area a fire is burning contained in a circle of rocks with a coffee pot hanging. Setting in the shadow around the fire a large man wearing a dark shirt a long leather jacket sipping coffee out of a tin cup he has a grey mustache and steel grey eyes he looks ageless as if he is 100 or could be 30. He wears a big iron on his hip not obnoxiously but he looks as if he is comfortable with its use. He wears a haggard grey Stetson hat and a dark bandana around his neck his expression Is thought but a glint of humor or maybe knowledge in his eyes he seems faraway as if he can read the flames of the fire.

A burning yellow and red ember sparked out of the flames and landed on the ground a the edge of Jericho's boot. He kicked it and dust covered it, he coughed slightly and sipped at the tin cup again, his mind was quiet poised as if waiting for something. He stretched his fingers slightly moving his head a bit hearing a crunch and brush of the grass to his left or his right the night air carrying sound well. Jericho smiled to himself thinking 'maybe tonight will herald something a bit different after all'

If Jericho couldn't see Jess in the distance, he could probably hear her, as she made no attempt to be stealthy. Her boots kicked at anything that wasn't flat on the ground, like she was peeved at something.
Jess was tall, but not as tall as Jericho. She wore a similar hat, tipped back to help her see, and her brown hair was secured in a short ponytail. A pistol and a dagger hung from her belt in plain view. Even though she wore a jacket, she kept her arms huddled around herself.
She stopped in front of Kane's fire, not looking happy but not looking like she was going to attack him or anything. In the firelight, one could make out the spiral scars all over her face and hands. She looked over the set up and simply greeted, "Hey, buddy."

Jericho was rarely surprised by anything that came his way, he had walked this ground to long to worry about much he looked up at her the firelight glowing lightly he tipped his cup up trying to get the last drop of coffee before speaking he said "Help yourself to the coffee hot as tar and twice as thick, Just right for taking the chill off" as he looked her up and down inquisitively "quiet night until you made your entrance" he said setting up a bit taller.

"Thanks," she said, and lowered herself to sit down. She held out her hands towards the fire. They also had spiralling scars, but over that were fresher scuff marks, like she'd been skidding along the ground. "Quiet for you, maybe," she scoffed, shaking her head. She stared blankly at the coffee pot for a couple seconds, then murmured, "D'you got another cup?"

Kane stood slowly as of his joints were a bit slow like that of an old machine, he tossed a tin cup at her "always carry a spare, coffee is a staple" he said "you look as though you've had a bit of trouble" he said picking up the pot pouring himself another cup and motioning to her to come closer, "I've had my share of trouble, once teed off again Doc Holiday and the Cisco kid, that was some trouble for the history books, but nothing like what went down in Tombstone" he said smiling softly to himself.

Jess wasn't expecting the cup to be tossed and she barely caught it, but she hissed as it pressed into her sore hands. "Got snuck up on, outnumbered, and robbed." She shrugged like this was common but there was irritation plain in her voice. It faded as he shared the tale. "Huh. Never had the honour of meeting the Doc myself, but he's got an impressive amount of stories tailing him, huh? Almost wish I had that kind of reputation."
