( if you don't like a lot of background, be free to skip to the summary at the bottom of the post)
For four hundred years the contenent of Vana was ruled by the empire of the red hand.
These rulers were said to contain the blood of dragons in their veins, and thus had god like powers. Though they were bound to human form, they ruled with a steady hand. Some kings and queens kind and soft spoken, others boardering of tyrannical.
But none of these rulers were loved more than igneous, the child like king.
A man that since childhood had always had a soft heart and a child like sense of wonder, always wearing the biggest grin he could muster.
Though he wasn't all to bright, which caused quite a stir of suprise when he became engaged to a local librarian and daughter of the captain of the guard, who was a highly intellectual yet beautiful woman
With a special love for the supernatural. And though the common people had a love for them, the human lords of the land did not.
You see for all his kindness, the king had one fault. He was no good with money, often giving piles of gold by hand to the common people. That was money out of the lords pockets, so upon learning of the queens pregnancy with the kings third child they set their plan into motion. Seeding fear and discourse of the kings blood and the havoc having such power might cause.
Eventually this grew to such an extent that the people began to revolt.
And on the night in question, the queen gave birth to a pair of twins with peculiar silver hair and ice like blue eyes, one boy, and one girl.
That's when it began, while the king rejoiced. Some of his own guardsmen turned on him, ripping his soul, as well as the souls of his two eldest children whom none remember, out of their physical forms. And binding them to crystals, one for each lord. At this time the queen was on a run and came across the nearby docs where a large ship was about to sail off to a nearby land.
She knew what she had to do to save her children's lives.
So she hid them between two crates in the ships cargo hold.
She was ready to hide herself to, but she was caught before she could. But rather than do as they had did with her beloved, they instead stripped her of her title and sent her off to live in the cold forest of the north, alone. To live with her grief.
Yet even as most fell into the trap of the lords, some still sing songs of the times under the child like red king, and of the return of the silver haired twins who will shine like the moon down into the darkness upon their return. It has been thirteen years since that day, and the land has been divided by the three lords into three feuding nation states.
Magic no longer has a presence in bloodlines but is rather given to those the lords choose through three special crystals containing the souls of forgotten rulers.
No one is allowed to have any magic but those who are granted it by their respective kings.
Which is why it causes quite a stir when a pair of foreign children with peculiar looks, just coming of age are seen using magic to set up a stall in the market by the docs.
Summary: many years after the death of the king and exile of the queen, the kings surviving twin children return with no knowledge of their past, and having in born magic in a land where magic is given by your lord is dangerous.
It is your job to either make them relize their destiny or attempt to stop them.

The Snow Elf sorcerer stepped off the boat, wincing in the sunlight that pierced his eyes after days in the cabin. He noticed tons of people getting off at this land, many having no extraordinary features about them. The only ones that struck him as strange were the twins of silver hair and ice-blue eyes, which reminded him of his lost people. Times had changed, he knew this. New powers had arisen, and no one was trying to end the threats. He watched, from a distance, as the twins set up their stall using magic, which received strange looks from the non-magic passerby. He noticed men going to the guards in an attempt to stop them from "Madness", but they either paid no mind or laughed and strolled away. Fasntar continued to watch, if only to see who the twins really were.
The twins carried on in innocence, waving their arms lighting and levitating boxes into place, their smiles seemingly carved into place.
The girl had her bangs pinned back at the front bar a few loose strands that hung at the side of her face, and in the back it flowed down to her waist in elegant waves.
She wore an elegant garb that was similar to that of Victorian style women garbs, that is to say she wore an elegant lace dress that was light blue in color, and reflected the sea beautifully.
The boy on the other hand wore dirty rags, peasant clothing if you will, his eyes holding a spark of defiance while the girls had a more elegant look. An odd pair as they might look, they were still siblings all the same.
And now they stood and levitated boxes into place without a care in the world.

(Sorry, I'm waiting for one of the others to reply before I do. It adds to my thought process and gives me an idea of where the story is going.)
(No one else is responding...because no ones taken interest and bothered to stay)
(So do you still want to roleplay, or is this shutting down? I want to keep playing this.)
(I do to I'm keeping it alive for now.)
