How's this for luck? As I'm fighting Mr. Tri, I get a grenade. I think, 'Oh sweet! This'll do some damage.' I use it, and roll a 2. Two turns later, I get an event notice that says Mr. Tri spat on me from afar, as I'm fighting him. He cheesed out 1 extra damage!

Oh yeah - the different colors are vulnerable to different types of weapons. If you use a weapon on them that doesn't match their color, they'll resist some of the damage

Aqua = energy sword, pink = honor blade, purple = ray gun. Grenades and rocket launchers work equally well on everything.
