Any other alien I'd say fine, you can get a lot of work done with the "wrong" weapon - but this guy's damage resist is 8, meaning any damage you do to him with an honor blade or energy sword, he will shrug 8 off like it never happened... Which will mean 50% of your hits will be worth nothing at all with those weapons.
