perhaps giving it one extra dice when figuring damage or upgrading the damage dice to the next grade (ie, a weapon that deals 2d8 damage would deal 2d10)

the latter might not add up all that much with a sword-type weapon, but an upgraded rocket launcher would be devastating

Was the 79 uses thing intentional, or a bug you decided to leave in?

i think that just means it refreshes uses when you pop a color crystal

Intentional. Energy crystals recharge the sword to full uses. I wanted people to get the full length of enjoyment out of their purchase.

though a rapier or energy sword upgrade giving it an extra damage dice would be very strong, potentially doubling its damage with a 2d8 roll; that would be like a base axe/honor blade

upgrading a slash-type would put it to 3d8, same as a ray gun, and upgrading an energy-type to 4d8 would just be very good overall

though rocket launchers would actually have a higher potential by upgrading the dice rolled themselves
