That's the number I recorded in the first place, when it first appeared.
Oh, then nevermind. It's been a little while.
Imperial Xenobeast rolled 1d20 and got a natural 20. After the modifier of +5, got 25
Critical hit! Imperial Xenobeast pats GrandFinale into the ground with a massive tentacle, hissing, "There, there... sleep now..."
Imperial Xenobeast rolled 5d8 and got 27. Because it's a crit, that damage is multiplied by 5
Imperial Xenobeast does 135 damage to GrandFinale.

The only difference I see is that it got an extra damage die.
AAAAHHHHH
GrandFinale, it's damage dice went from 3d8 to 5d8. But the multiplier is the same.
huh
4d8
4 to 5
still, its potential max damage is -insane-
*points to her notes*
Yes, 4d8. Clearly I am too tired to be allowed to talk anymore. Thank you Nova!
also did that thing just SHAKE when it critted me
Yes it did.
he's really furious now aint he
Gotta head out for now. Good luck!
i'll say this in both chats: ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR HP AT MINIMUM IS 46 BEFORE ATTACKING THE IMPERIAL
it can deal a maximum of 45 damage unless it's a critical
Also posting to both chats:
-Using rapiers or laser swords instead of heavier-hitting weapons can be advantageous! They boost your AC (so you get hit less), and have a higher crit potential than other weapons.

You underestimate how much I can do with 5.
