Hello! What guesses have you thrown in so far?

I tried "Garnet" for the Night Node (Steven Universe style) just on a hunch, no dice

I'm pretty sure this riddle is about Welcome to Night Vale. So far I've tried every variation of Cecil Palmer's name, and A/The/(none) Vague, Yet Menacing, Government Organization, and a bunch of other stuff I've forgotten.
