The Xenobeast looks a bit like an Elephant.

So for the Apple node:

Central fermions makes me think it means either a proton or a neutron, also known as nucleons because they make up the nucleus of an atom.

They have super different decay rates though. I can't remember a proton, other than it's basically infinity.

A neutron is roughly 14 minutes 42 seconds, or 15 minutes. (outside of the nucleus)
