Click on the little icon and it'll ask.

At the bottom of your inventory, you'll see the icons of things in your display case. Click on him there

Well, another way of saying 'down on their luck' can mean feeling depressed.

Definitely not in Here For You. That's an important space I would not want to disrupt.
