like he seems to have retained it's blue-purple through his first two phases, seeming only to be annoyed throughout them

then, in phase 3, he becomes extremely angry and turns bright, furious red

his phase 4 colors are a much darker and more purple-oriented version of his first two phases, and his expression is now showing exhaustion and fear
