To send yourself (or anyone else) stuff, you'll want the "Give Items" button, and it'll guide you from there.

Is there a limit? I just want to make sure I don't get too many healing items.

Typically take what you need, heal yourself up if you're really low, otherwise you restore health slowly by yourself. The armory will be decently stocked throughout so you don't need to hoard.
