I still need to get my hands on an energy sword myself

i do agree that it might be 30 for the d20 seal, the d4 is a pretty confusing dice.

also, it's a magician seal, and magic missile (best known spell for wizards + sorcs in d&d) uses d4s.

er *magician master
so the spell fits the first clue.
