I know that there's a rping community on furcadia and that quite a few people on here role-play on there as well. I used to play on it quite some time ago (probably around 6-7 years ago), never really did anything have to do with rping though. I was wondering how it goes rping on there and just perhaps maybe getting into it???

There are several dreams in Furcadia that host rp, it just takes finding which community suits you and what kind of things you enjoy rping! If you are of adult age, there are two dreams in particular that have wonderful communities of dedicated rpers, The Golden Tether and New Versailles, though exploring any of the many dreams and other areas can come up with surprising and awesome rp ^^

I get that, that much I do know. But I'm more of wondering how the rping goes on there and how friendly are they to new people? Things like that.

Aah I see. I know the two dreams I mentioned are definitely new people friendly. As for how the rping goes? I'm not quite sure what ya mean

As far as RP goes, it's active in those dreams. I am in the Tether a lot myself, because I enjoy the time setting and the fantasy level of it. It's high fantasy, low tech. Where as NV doesn't have furries in it and is modern setting, while high fantasy. I prefer the former. In style of RP, it's definitely semi-paragraphic to paragraphic.

Rp itself depends on if you are also willing to branch out and interact with people.
As welcoming as any dream can be if either party doesn't respond or react in some manner then it becomes stale.
As for NV and TGT there is also CoS. Which is a fusion of "realms" that brings in a post apocalyptic touch.
Regardless it never hurts to branch out and try new things.

I would highly suggest going to Imaginarium and locating Etla for very welcoming/friendly Rpers. It's a very large community too!
