Yeah that about sums up things.

So I know it's Epic Week, so we're all busy being sleuthing warriors, buuuut...

I want some rp on this fella. Ro's a fantasy-scifi character (leans more towards fantasy) who has recently re-escaped imprisonment in what was once his old palace, after a resurrection gone horribly right via necromancy and high-tech robotics. Grooooss.

Now he needs to find his family. It's a family he hasn't seen in two decades who supposedly lives about a few weeks ride away. Family doesn't often hand you back over to the authorities if you're innocent, after all...

So I'm looking for:
-Friends or foes. One player or many, depending on interest. Offer unto me characters, we'll crank out details.
-Decent spelling and grammar.
-A passion for storytelling. I LIKE WRITING STORIES. DO YOU? Okay, good, let's roll.
-Patience, because outside of my moderation duties I work in retail. That may slow my posting down some days due to tiredness or busyness. I try to post daily, but feel free to nudge me.

And I think that's it. I want to play in the public boards, so obviously please do follow the rules while we play. I don't want to have to mod you. That's just awkward.

Question for Alekstranza's user though: this RP is going to take place in a setting that doesn't have much of a connection to Earth. Setting wise is that going to be an issue for your character?

How should our characters meet up? I generally have my character start out with him temporarily getting separated from his gorilla partner. His gorilla partner ends up having a fairly comedic run in with another character, and then the situation devolves from that.

Well Dorax is a pooka and quote

"P-O-O-K-A. Pooka. From old Celtic mythology, a fairy spirit in animal form, always very large. The pooka appears here and there, now and then, to this one and that one. A benign but mischievous creature. Very fond of rumpots, crackpots."

He'll just show up and is a little crazy

Or a better question may be to ask, what do you reckon are all the characters' motivations for getting involved in Ro's business/conflict?

Well, I was thinking Alekstranza could be an old friend he might have forgotten about, but she never forgot and has been awaiting his return so she can help him and they can rekindle their friendship? (I can make her older if that helps it make more sense)

Stahl's a simple mercenary and animal trainer. So, perhaps during one of his travels, he ends up mistaking Robodad for his target and the situation could devolve there upon realizing that Stahl was being a total idiot, thus his chaotic comedy comes into play.

Would it be possible for Dorax to be like a former family pet. He has a wolf form which can be mistaken for a giant husky sort of thing. Hes been masquerading as their pet for ages, an oddly long lived one cause it gets him fed and groomed...

But with the ruckus, no one cares for the dog, and dor's on his own until he finds Robodad... and reveal he's actually more than that to try and help him get back to his family because he owes the family?
