I'll try to make this as quick as possible. I'm a literate (sorry if you don't like the word) roleplayer. To me, that pretty much just means decent grammar, vocab and description when roleplaying, so my standards aren't high. I've been roleplaying on and off again since around 2009-2010, so I'm a decent writer (hopefully).
For universes, I tend to prefer less complicated ones unless it's a canon-verse that I know about. Most ideas and characters I have are from either reality based universes or mostly reality based with some abnormality (vampires, ghosts, a bit of high tech stuff, etc.) Usually, I tend to do character driven plots so that would make up the majority of my pitches. A lot of the time I'll have an idea just stating the character traits, and how they interact whether they're forced to communicate somehow or do so willingly.
I'm sure I'm leaving a few things out so if anyone has any questions just ask!

Some of the folks here are familiar with the literate/illiterate terminology, but it tends not to get used a whole lot here. You shouldn't have much trouble finding some games to join, though. You might even take a look at some of the groups - I know we have a number of RP groups that focus on supernaturals in a modern setting. If those have a bit too much supernatural going on though, you're always welcome to start your own games (and groups, if you want). ^^

Oh yeah I know what you mean! I am a pretty literate RPer myself! Welcome to the site! RPR is awesome. Especially when you find some people who are into the same things as you and you get a good story going.
