Could you give us a taste of what an Organic Chemistry question is like? I'm curious.
And in the meantime I'd love to ramble on about lore if anyone else wants to. I've been thinking up guild ideas and what their leaders would be like. Another topic I've been overthinking is just how real is the simulation. Like for hacking, players aren't expected to ACTUALLY be good at coding and infiltrating real firewalls right? Most games have hacking dumbed down to a puzzle of shooter minigame. So... then what's crafting like? What do Mechanics do all day? Do they actually learn how to be mechanical engineers ingame? Is that why it's so amazing when Mechanics custom make new tools?
These questions keep me up at night.

Same, except I've been more close-minded and wondering more about how the players move. Like when they fight, are they actually learning how to in-game? Is it automatic commands, or according to the player's imagination? Will their real world fighting skills be applied in-game, including their actual skill speed and strength? Can it be increased accordingly? What limits are there to in-game fighting abilities?
Yeah these are just the kind of questions spinning around Ira's head (and mine)

I presume mechanics are similar to what you would expect in SAO scenario of cookie skill or blacksmith skills in other aspects of light novels. I doubt hacking would easy, at the very least it has to be somewhat real world like but dumbed down. I presume real world fighting can be incorporated into the game.
That was a sample midterm for my midterm 1 this quarter.. I could probably bring out my old midterms...I picked the easier professors to save my grade.
Yeah I noticed you mentioning that in the writing. I've been going on

SAO logic
. The players are asleep, immobilized, while our consciousness is transported into a simulated world. All of our would-be muscle inputs are read by the game instead of our body. That's how I'm interpreting it anyways. How that's possible is cause magical VR Headset.http://www.scienceforums.com/topic/27902-how-long-until-we-could-make-a-real-sword-art-online-sao-nerve-gear-type-device/

I regret asking.
In theory it is possible to scientists. To engineers? They have no clue. To programmers? How does one turn nerve signals into coding is the question. Then send those codes back into nerve signals for the brain. That is like saying you gotta put Java and Python in the same program and transfer the outputs and inputs back and forth for both programming language to understand.
Organic chemistry isn't that bad~.

That's exactly what math majors say about calculus, you show boater!
Intro Calculus wasn't that bad~(I'm a Biochemistry major).

Me too, thought of SAO when Sp8des did Bullet Fuse (Tho this is better than the Phantom Bullet Arc- might be biased ). The article sounds pretty neat.
Meanwhile I was trying to figure out what Spiridon and his brother Faddej were researching when I came across this: https://www.google.com/amp/www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/05/03/dead-could-be-brought-back-to-life-in-groundbreaking-project/amp/
So now added background info- they were prodigy inventors who wanted to make the world a better place by bringing back hope to hopeless patient cases. However, this was during the beginning of WWIII, wherein the threat of nuclear attack was a bit less since everyone knew it'd result in the end of the world. Still didn't stop them from trying to come with other kinds of military advantages though... They refused to cooperate with the military, knowing it would be twisted somehow, and one day after the military visited the machine they were building partially exploded, killing Faddej. Coincidence? No way. Spiridon suspected it was murder, but of COURSE he couldn't prove it.

No. Why should they?
YO HOLY HELL NECROMANCY? IN MY UNIVERSE? WHAT IS THIS? I can not WAIT for religious nuts in my bible belt community to protest this. It's gon be lit. IT'S NECROMANCY! 2020 hype.
I'm liking the Russian Necromancer backstory. Good intentions leading to horrible monstrosities is A+. By helping patients, I'm guessing they were experimental doctors bringing the dead to life as mentioned in the article? How could that possibly go wrong please do tell.
Edit on the Poop: I M M E R S I O N

Was Call Of Duty right all along?

Military was like "oh this project might actually become a thing cause of these two brilliant young men, perhaps we can make an immortal army!!"
And they were like "Hell no"
Woah what the-
Is that an actual thing. Educate my poor non-gamer soul.
And i think that's too much immersion, lol

Just referring to the ever-popular Zombies mode which is shoe horned into most of their World War games. I dont know the lore.
