It'd be a Legendary Weapon

I still miss stonewall .

I do have an idea for a race though.
Do tell.
Well I based it off an
Old news article I read recently.
Old news article I read recently.
Continue.
The race itself is called chimera, basically it began as genetically engineered humans with cat like reflexes, birds eye sight. Though some developed ears, tails and wings, they look mostly human. They are a very closed off from the majority of the world and have a bad history with humanity. They live in large hidden cities and usually are either thieves, gypsies, or bounty hunters.
The most noticeable difference though on those that have no animal extremities is their multi coloured eyes. Essentially where one is one colour and the other is another.
I just need help developing them further.

I believe Chimeras would fit in just fine. We just need to work it in with the ingame lore. I'm thinking Khaeos' mad scientist lore she was writing some time ago could link with this. Chimeras would be tied to the mutants that will be the focus of the rp.
Bio-engineered humans infused with select animals. Player characters that would specialize in exceeding human limitation without any reliance on mechanics, technology, and could heal extraordinarily well. I'm thinking to balance this, they would be incapable of cybernetics due to their bodies rejecting what is originally meant to syncronize with human DNA. Otherwise, they could wield any weapon no problem and be any class just as the other races.
Something you mention is that they are off doing their own thing in the world. That could work, but keep in mind that we are in a game within a game, and player chimeras wouldn't just ignore mahor cities becuase thier species lore tells them to. I'm imagining a central Chimera-only guild would uphold the lore and roleplay being outcasts, though.

Oh and the term for multicolored eyes is Heterochromia.
So. In essence we'll be getting Nekos and other Furries.
Fine with me, considering it is post apocalyptic world of science and mayhem, the customization itself is enough to allow it due to the fact genetic mutations get out, they breed, more spawn. Etc. I do like the idea that they're the rapscallions of the world, and they'd probably all be herded into the Badlands with the other rift raft.

Why am I imagining some people worshiping Silent's weapons? Just like Borderlands 2?
Cool! I think the military in the lore would have definitely experimented on human/animal splicing with the added rapid heal deal. Ties in well with the Russian Necromancer's research.
Oh wait. They would be furries wouldn't they. I'VE BEEN HAD!
This evens out a tri-force of sorts in regards to a caste system:
100% cybernetic humans and androids being regarded as regal and rich.
The more organic humans are regarded as inferior squishy flesh bags that they are.
And Chimeras are so uncivilized. Best used to do the dirty work.

What Russian necromancer o-o. Iodine is not even here!

Brother: Faddej Nikolaev
Died age 21

Occupation: Prodigy Medical Scientists/Engineers
Sought to find a way to raise the dead in order to bring back his brother Faddej, who died in an experimental accident (murder- brother always vocal about not wanting military involvement). Military tried to recruit him. He refused, but all his works were seized before he could destroy them. Was executed for treason after numerous attempts to sabotage military laboratory experiments. The result: a deadly species of near-immortal biotechnological mutants, unleashed after a lab accident breakout.

So now added background info
They were prodigy inventors who wanted to make the world a better place by bringing back hope to hopeless patient cases. However, this was during the beginning of WWIII, wherein the threat of nuclear attack was a bit less since everyone knew it'd result in the end of the world. Still didn't stop them from trying to come with otherkinds of military advantages though... They refused to cooperate with the military, knowing it would be twisted somehow, and one day after the military visited the machine they were building partially exploded, killing Faddej. Coincidence? No way. Spiridon suspected it was murder, but of COURSE he couldn't prove it.
And for my own suffering
In Russian, Spiridon means soul, and Faddej means heart
/collapses/within/collapses/within/collapses. We must go deeper, Faddej. Fore mothur russia.
Yeees haha
Im all out of character slots so... there it is. His profile. I still have it in my notes
