I've just been content to leave it as relating to more Future-Scifi technology than what is available in a post apoco setting. It would be nice to give some flavor to it. So far we know most Obsidai tech has black, sleek looking, noble and regal qualities.

Nah nah there are no "humanoid" aliens. There are just aliens, Obsidai. NPC and Player Obsidai are able to make the technology, which makes both the race and the tech special. Our troop of banditos have 1 lil' powerful gadget each, with Khae's chara potentially being able to make and tinker with O-tech sense he is one of them.
