Andrew took the pistol gratefully and put an arm around Layla, helping her to her feet, "Come on, we need to go," he looked over at the soldiers, waiting patiently for their orders.
Layla snuggled towards Andrew and coughed lightly. She closed her eyes and held onto him tightly with a weakened look.
Andrew pocketed the pistol and picked Layla up, holding her sideways in his arms.
The radio on Jona and Hazels shoulders crackled before Dean's voice was heard "Jona, Hazel, Bring the civs down to ground floor, the top floor is clear, i'm getting rid of the ones down here, but hurry, we need to get them out alive" Dean was stopping every few words as a mutant was gotten rid of.
"Roger that" Jona left the room first to see if the coast was clear "Clear" He said as Hazel lead them out.
All four of them got down the stairs to the first floor Jona lead as he checked every corner for mutants. they got to same room at where Dean was and saw him hold a mutant by its neck as it was on its knees, its arm blade cut off. Dean's veins were glowing a light blue making them easier to see along with his eyes. He sliced the last mutants head off, it rolled to the corner of the room before the body hit the floor.
Jona and Hazel looked at each other before smiling "Hoorah" one of them said quietly
Dean turned around, his veins returned to normal along with his eyes "Are you ready?"

"Y-yes sir," he stuttered and looked nervously at the door.
"Okay" Dean looked over to Jona "Hand me a few grenades"
"Sir" Jona handed Dean 4 grenades.
"I'm going to toss these four out this door, when they go off i'm going to go first and clear any stray mutants, i want both of the civs and you two down that manhole, do not stop for anything, got it?" he asked Jona and Hazel
"copy that" they replied
Dean looked over at Andrew who was carrying Layla "Got that?"

Dean looked over at Andrew who was carrying Layla "Got that?"
"Yes sir," he said more surely now and waited, ready to move.
Dean tossed the grenades outside, they lined up perfectly as they landed getting rid of all but a few mutants from there to the manhole "GO, NOW!" Dean shouted as he ran out the door, he sliced up a few stray mutants, Jona and Hazel ran towards the manhole but stopped midway for Andrew and Layla
"CMON!" Hazel shouted to Andrew
"CMON!" Hazel shouted to Andrew
He ran as fast as he could with Layla bouncing in his arms and sped past the two soldiers and toward the man hole.
Layla flipped out of his arms and jogged beside him.She had military training when she was 12 by her gramps on her father's side.As she ran 3 red stripe marks appeared on both her cheeks and on her arms.
Dean followed close behind them slicing and dicing any mutants who tried to attack, as Andrew and Layla reached the manhole Hazel opened it up allowing them to get in "GO GO GO" Jona yelled opening fire on mutants, not doing much damage but slowing them doen
Andrew didn't need to be told twice althought he was more or less surprised when Layla started running; hadn't she just needed to be carried. It didn't matter now though and he quickly slid into the man hole.
Dean ran to the man hole after everyone was in, he slid into the man hole and dragged the cover on to the hole closing it behind him. He landed in on the rock hard floor of the sewers landing perfectly on his feet. "everybody ln?"
She sat on the floor and displayed the life size model of the mutants."Alright...There is indeed an antidote but it is nearly impossible to even catch a mutant alive to even help it out......" She sighs and looks at the gridded model.
Dean had smiled and held out his hand to shake hers "hi my name's Dean King, I'm a prototype of the beings above us" he smiled at the sarcasm
"An antidote? Layla, this isn't a disease," Andrew growled in exasperation, "You can't cure something like this."
"Haha..." She rolled her eyes."Anyway...The antidote is in your blood." She looked at the very sarcastic annoyance.
"Layla, I'm serious. This isn't a disease. Those things were created and you can't cure a creation."
She growled and stumps."THERE HAS TO BE A WAY! THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY...I DON'T WANT TO DIE IN A HOLE!"
