"I would rather stay here,I would not like to use my techniques around other scienctist.Its a sacred thing." She stumps and raises her hands,making a weird sound."Kyah Kyah!" A huge contraption rose from the ground as she fell back and layed with a smile."Yay!"

"what is that thing" Dean looked at it with wide eyes not believing his eyes

"This will help out a lot....it can kill them all but it needs a certain jewel to power it."

"What kind of jewel? i hope It's nothing special like a Ruby" Dean replied inspecting the contraption

"How does it kill them?" Andrew had been watching silently and now stood, running his hands along it.

"An old friend told me that a certain toxin can be used.And I need a more excpencive jewel then a ruby. "

"what? Like a Diamond expensive? Layla I don't know if you know but we're in a war zone, not many jewellery shops are open" Dean had a small diamond around his neck... It came from his wife's wedding ring.

She Looked down then up again."What the hell am I still doing here I could get something! Hell,I use to have to fight in Russia....I need to get into a shop!"

"Layla Tell me what you need than going back up there yourself, besides you wouldn't last as long as I will" he shrugged

"Please," he agreed with Dean and hugged Layla to his chest, "I don't want to lose you."

After my mother wasn't able to have children,and all the children from the orphanage were too sinful and had given up hope,my father (Scientist) began to try to make me out of what god made humans...dirt.He tried so hard but gave up.But really all it was missing was a soul.They went to a voodoo like shop...sure they got me a soul but the price to pay was my mother would die...somehow....she didn't care about death,just as long as she had a child.I then watched her die.There was also a little glitch I have.I won't die easily,my body can take a bunch of slices but I won't die.I will only die if my body is sliced to peices and shipped off to different areas.If not...I will reform." She looked down knowing she was like a monster.

Dean laid a friendly hand on her shoulder and smiled "Everybody's different, take me for example, i have blades that come out of my hands. My point is no matter what part of you make you feel like you're not human, your soul proves otherwise"

She smiled at him."Thank you." She got up and hugged Dean in a kind way."Now then,I need to get a big peice of Diamond.

"Well let's get to HQ, and I can gather up some supplies and get ready. I'll also need someone to map out a jewellery store" He started walking down the tunnel. Jona and Hazel had already left

She silently follows him but she seemed to be holding her arm.

Their feet hit the damp floor, the tunnel was cold, dark and dirty. The rats seemed to enjoy watching them suffer, not living in their warm cosy houses and sleeping in their comfortable beds. No, they live in damp and cold conditions, with little or no food or water a day. Despite all of this Dean promised to help this city and bring it back to it's former glory, He swore to help those in need and he meant every word.
They had arrived to a metal door that had some very impressive locks.
"It's Dean, open up" he shouted. the locks slowly opened as the grinding noise of cogs and chains filled the tunnel. The door raised open revealing a huge room with army personal and survivors.
Dean slowly walked in with the others following him "when the mutants started to invade we evacuated this city. However there were a few unlucky ones who have been living here recently when the mutants had full control, We've been extracting a few at a time trying to get everybody out but there are always more, some even made it to evac but were attacked by mutants as the birds got chopped up" Dean pointed out a few blankets for Layla and Andrew. There were couples snuggling together around a fire with blankets in the big damp and cold room. there was still some room for a few more people. Dean grabbed 2 bottle of water and some food and gave them to Andrew and Layla. He rubbed the back of his head "It's not much but it's safe"

"It's perfectly fine," Andrew gratefully took the water as he looked around.
Layla's story had unnerved him but he still liked her and say down, motioning for her to sit next to him, his tail wagging slightly.

She smiled and sat with Andrew,sweetly nuzzling him.She liked being around Andrew because she found him warm.She kissed his cheek lightly with a smile.

Dean smiled for a few seconds before going to a separate room, that room was for CQC training. Some people started whispering around the fire where Andrew and Layla were. It was about Dean. A lady whispered to her boyfriend loud enough for Layla to hear "did you hear? Dean is an experiment just like those mutants up on the surface. I know he helped us but what if he turns on us?"

Layla slightly growled and nuzzled more to Andrew,trying not to yell something out.
