She quickly hugged him again,this time not letting go."You're awesome,and a great guy.At the end of it all...everything will go your way."

Andrew just watched from the circle of survivors, not wanting to leave the warmth of the fire.

"I hope so" Dean hugged back and then turned to get prepared for supplies, he looked over his shoulder at Layla "thank you again" And then walked away

Layla nodded and ran back to Andrew and sat in his lap.

He blushed a bit through his fur and wrapped his arms around her chest.

She slowly snuggled closer to him and smiled. "Wow you're warm."

Dean was sat at an old table with a pen and a map, the pen lid in his mouth as he mapped out each jewellery store on the map. he sat back and took a sip of his water bottle before wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Wow there's a lot of jewellery stores around here" He sighed as he grabbed an apple and a spare water bottle and placed them inside his back pack. "Andrew, Layla I'm heading out to get those diamonds we need" He smiled before he made his way to the door

"Woah,Wait! I'm coming too. I can't stay in this place that long. It kills me. Please?"

Dean stopped and turned to her "There's mutants crawling all over the surface, you could get hurt"

"No, Layla!" Andrew looked at her. Had this apocalypse made people crazy? "Well, if you're going, I am too."

"I know I will be fine,and Andrew...are you sure? You don't seem like the fighting type....well you kinda do..." She stretched a little.

"You can't kill them either. It doesn't matter if I'm not the fighting type, what matters is that I'm staying with you."

"..." Layla kissed Andrew deeply,while wrapping her arms around him softly. She liked him a lot but she also liked to run,fight and more.

He blushed deeply and returned the kiss. How odd must it have been to the others to see an anthro and a human kissing?
Andrew's eats twitched wildly and his tail wagged.

After a while,Layla slowly pulled away and blushed. She soon snuggled to him with a smile. "Andrew Im gonna tell it to you straight. You can be really negative,but I still like you!" She giggled.

"Not negative, realistic," he smiled softly and blushed, "I like you too."

Layla nuzzled him and smiled. "You're cute. Now remember I could get hurt but I can't really die."

"It doesn't matter if you can't die. They could still take you from me. I can't let that happen," he held her tightly.

She blushed and smiled. "You care that much?"

He was silent for a few moments, thinking before finally speaking.
"Yes. I do," he leaned his forehead against hers.
