He gently rubbed his furry hand up and down her back, "Well, we're safe now," he rested his head back.
Layla looked at him with a smile."Thanks for helping me.My name is Layla." She smiled and nuzzled him,her other arm resting upon his shoulder.
"I'm Andrew," he returned the nuzzle, his nose dry from the excitement and the heat if the flames of the city. In fact, his nose hadn't been wet in over a year now.
She smiles lightly and hasn't had much excitement. She snuggles closer to him for warmth. Her body temperture droping rapidly. Her hands trembling against his chest. Her fear starting to overcome her.
The wolf anthro held her tightly, feeling how cold she was through his fur and clothes, "It's alright. Everything is over now."
She smiled as thoughts ran threw her mind. She looks at him and kisses his nose."Thank you for being kind and helping me.I do owe you my life." She closes her eyes and leaned her head againts his chest again.
He blushed deeply through his fur at the kiss, "No, you don't owe me anything," he smiled and sat up.
She pulled her long blonde hair back and smiled at him with her big blue eyes. She felt a slight pain in her back all of a sudden. She felt around her back and noticed a rather large shard of glass in it.Once felt, she looks down and tries to breathe slowly. Not wanting to agitate the wound worse.
(put a space after the periods)
Andrew looked at the shard, "Do you want me to take it out?"
Andrew looked at the shard, "Do you want me to take it out?"
(Ok...sorry...)
"No! Please don't touch it!" She closes her eyes feeling a dizzy from blood loss.
"No! Please don't touch it!" She closes her eyes feeling a dizzy from blood loss.
"Alright..." he turned her so that she was sitting sideways in his lap and he had one hand below her head.
Layla started thinking again and realized her father wasn't with her. Despite her wound and bleeding head, she got up and started digging through the rubble. Her eyes starting to flood with tears again.
"Don't move, don't move," Andrew stopped her and pulled her back, gently stroking her hair.
She looked down sadly. "Is my father...dead?" She winced from the shard digging deeper into her back. She held her hand over her wound.
"I don't know..." he whimpered, "Are you sure you don't want me to rake it out? I'll make it as fast as possible."
He grabbed the shard and pulled it out in one swift movement before pressing down on the gash with his hands.
He ripped off a part of his shirt and pressed it against the open wound.
