"You're welcome," he smiled softly and kissed her cheek.

She blushed brightly when he kissed her cheek. She slightly giggles and hugs him tight.

Just then the shouts of mutants returned and he got to his feet, pulling Layla up with him and started pulling her away from the helicopter, "Kiroro, come on!"

Nods and gets up.

Shivers and holds on tight.

He led them into the ruins of a building and up three floors before sitting and looking out the window at the wreck.
Seven mutants were there and had their sword-like hands dug into the shoulders of everyone on board, dead or alive an were pulling them away.

She covers her mouth noticing one of the bodies were her father's. Her hand shaking and her eyes dilated with horror.

He noticed and covered her mouth, "Not a sound," he whispered Nd ducked down.

She shivered and closed her eyes.She breathed slowly.

After a few minutes, the mutants left and he slowly uncovered her mouth then held her tightly.

"No...Not my father.........he's dead...." She growls,her eyes turning brown.

"Woah, calm down. There's nothing you could have done. He was already dead and those... Those things would have killed you," he held Layla tightly.

She sighs as her eyes turn back blue again. "I guess you're right."

He gently rocked from side to side, cradling Layla.

She closed her eyes and felt peacful for a little while. "Where did these mutants even come from?" She keeps her eyes closed.

"You know that war that's been going on? Apparently on one of the battle fields, beneath the ground was some sealed chamber and all the battling that was going on opened it and they killed all the soldiers on both sides. They... They take the dead and alive down into the chamber and they get turned into the mutants too..."

"We have to kill them from the source. If we let this continue on, we will die soon." Layla opened her eyes and looked at him.

"We're going to die anyways. There is no way to destroy it. That's the first things we did was launch missiles into it. We can only survive as long as possible," he said sadly.

"So that's it? We're just going to give up? I don't want to go out like that...." She looks down.

"Nobody does. How can we survive though? We can't do anything to the mutants. They're faster and stronger and practically invincible. There's nothing we can do. That helicopter was the last one to leave..."
