She looks at him and tilts her head. "Is something wrong."

"You're just very odd... You were angry less than five minutes ago and I don't even know why, and now you're kissing me and cuddling me and calling me cute."

"I know...and sorry...I just am not able to be that mad....Another reason I would never be an actor..."

"I guess that's a good thing," he sighed and sat up, hugging her to his chest.

She smiled and thought better when she was close to him.She started to think of a simple design that could transport them to were they needed to go.

He gently rocked from side to side, humming and trying to calm himself down as he heard the yells of more mutants.

She stands up and held her hands out in front of herself.Layla made the barrier a bit stronger,it taking a lot of power out of her,her heart body being overwhelmed.Blood dripped from her mouth but she stood strong,only to make the barrier stronger.

"Stop! They aren't here yet," Andrew pulled her down and wiped the blood from her mouth.

"I can at least reinforce it,making it stronger befor they DO come!" She looks at him with weak eyes.

"No signs of Human life" Gunshots and screams could be heard outside "Heading into Building" a sound of a team came from within the building
"Copy that fox squad, stay frosty" Was that a radio?
"Remember Clean decapitation if all else fails. Lets break into 2 groups Jona, Hazel on me, Mike, Butch take the top floor. If you see any civilians keep them alive" it was hope and that was all that was needed in the] war zone "Rendezvous here with with us in 30"
"Roger that" The sound of foot steps seemed to come from witihn

Andrew heard voices and let out a silent prayer before holding Layla even tighter, brushing his lips against her cheek.

She blushes and closes her eyes.Feeling a bit more weak.

Andrew rested his chin on her head, praying that the other people wouldn't attract attention.

"Mike, Butch? Do you read me?" Dean tried to get a hold of squad 2
"Loud and clear" Squad 2 replyed, Dean let out a sigh in relief
"Okay, mike, butch you got anything?" Dean and another 2 of his squad members were searching for survivors, whilst the others looked for supplies, food and water.
"Negative, Captain. This place is dead, no body in sight" Dean looked around for survivors until he came upon 2.
"Hello? You two okay? Jona, Hazel we got 2 over here"

Layla looked at them then down,her still bleeding from her mouth.

"You're in good hands now", he held both his hands out to help them up "You're lucky we found you" the whole squad was packing heat But Dean had no weapon "Mike, Butch, we found 2 civilians ... Do you copy? Squad 2!? Do You Copy?!... Dammit squad 2!" Dean knew something was up "Jona, Hazel look after these 2 whilst i check on the others"
Jona and Hazel stood guard "Copy that"
Dean stood up and made for the door "Don't worry we'll get you out of here, even if it kills me"He faced the door, two blades came out of his hands both the size of a forearm and razor sharp. He exited the room in search for the others

"Thank you," Andrew looked up at the soldiers but didn't loosen his grip on Layla.

Squad 2 was dead. There were about 10 mutants, some of them dragging the limp, impaled bodies of the soldiers away. The other 7 or 8 turned and looked at the new comer and bared their razor sharp teeth and took an offensive stance as they moved towards him, their bladed arms swinging.

(Keep in mind that these things are practically invincible. You'd need either a full 30 bullet clip to the head, and even that's sketchy, or a full chain on an M60 to take one out. Their arms are sharp enough to cut through solid metal.)

Her eyes were serious after a while."Perhaps if he could kill one,He could bring it back here.I need to do tests...But just incase my death is in hand..." She wrapped her arms around Andrew's neck and kisses him.

Dean was the first super soldier prototype ever to survive and stay human. The tests subjects that followed after him were not so successful, innocent soldiers turned blood thirsty as they mutated and the only one to put them down was Dean.

Dean got into his defensive stance as the mutants ran towards him, he took his arm blades out waiting for them to get closer, his reflexes hadn't failed him, but his anger shot sky high. His veins started to glow a light blue this happens when his anger takes over,This made him faster and stronger. Outside the door, clashing sounds of blades could be heard, Cries of mutants as they got sliced up, Until only one set of foot steps could be heard.

Jona looked towards the civilian "Don't worry, if anyone can take us out of this mess it's Captain Dean" He gave them a reassuring smile as the door began to open, Dean stood there covered in blood as his blades retracted back into his hands.
"The coast is clear, Lets get them 2 out of here" Dean gave them an order
"But what about Butch and Mike?" Hazel asked
Dean looked down "They're no more"
Jona and Hazel looked at each other slightly upset but it was not aloud to be shown to others. Dean turned around guarding the doorway as he waited for the couple and Jona and Hazel. "HQ this is fox squad, 2 of my soldiers are down, we found 2 civs, some food but no water. Get us to the nearest manhole" Manhole? did survivors live underground?
"Copy that fox squad, the nearest manhole is 4 yards outside the front entrance. I'm sorry to hear about Mike and Butch captain, HQ out"

"No," was all Andrew could say before she kissed him and to say the least, he was very startled. They had only known each other for about an hour. He closed his eyes and tilted his head a bit before pulling away, his tail wagging beneath his body.
