Celestina: Oh, I didn't mean the weather forecast, but these neat climate charts that give you an idea of what sort of temperature range, rainfall and hours of sunshine you can expect for any given month. They're available for a lot of the bigger cities.
I may be wrong, but I always sort of thought the UK has a pretty specific climate because it's a group of islands, whereas you can expect rather different weather in inland Germany. On the other hand, according to those charts I've just mentioned... it's not actually that different! So who knows

Thanks for all your advice/help, Alecia There's so much I don't wholly think about because I've never been on a trip like this before

Being surprised about the stuff that you've always taken for granted suddenly being really different is a lot of fun IMO, and you'll get to experience a lot of it during your first foreign adventure So don't worry too much Not knowing stuff is a part of the adventure
I'm in KY, and our highest temp lately has been about 84 F. Not too bad, compared to some places, but I feel like suffocating at work because I'm in a factory all night with barely any fans. Lol
I'm 45 mins from DC on the virginia side, and it's like 91F right now. I usually take cool (NOT WARM, NOT COLD) showers and keep the AC on, as well as EVERY SINGLE FAN IN THE HOUSE. And stay indoors, staying indoors is a must.
I'm from Ohio where the weather changes every hour.
Now I live in Ontario. Well, 2 weeks ago it was snowing. It has been 40's- low 50s (8-10C) and it went from 50-85 (10-28) in one day difference so I am currently dying lol. But its going back down into the 50's/60s rest of the week. I miss having summers that last longer than 2 months lol

Right??? I went on a walk, got a tan and sweat right through my clothes. Like holy crap.
Georgia in a nutshell; heat stroke and frostbite in the same week
90's. I've seen triple digits, but it's fairly rare. Much like Ohio, it's the rapid fire swings that'll get you. Just yesterday it was 45 when I got to work, 88 when I left.
You don't. You WANT actively to peel off your skin 24/7 until Autumm starts, and then you want to hide from society until the heat forces you leave your bed. A beutiful cicle of nature and weakening of the inmmune system (?)
Nah but, it can be a handful. Here the temperature during Summer usually ranges between 30° and 40° C (the highest i've seen was 45° or so). It is scorching (specially at areas with little folliage), but with the help of a fan, light clothes, and good amounts of liquid it becomes beareable!.....Unless the power shuts off due general overheating. Then you just throw yourself in the floor and beg for a quick, painless death by heat stroke.
Is not like it gets much more civil on winter (rainy weeks with temperatures below 10° C aren't a pretty combo ;v; ), but I feel that the cold is a bit more beareable than the heat, personally xD

I can't wait for the cold weather to come back, lmao. It pretty regularly reaches -35C here during winter, but I find it way easier to warm up than cool down.
I'm not going to throw my American farenheit talk in here, but I will say this. The hottest summer I've had, it was possible for you to pour water on the sidewalk and it sizzle, then evaporate.
Here in Burkburnett Texas it gets really hot in the summer almost 101 degrees while in the summer its cold as hell
What is this 'hot' you speak of?
It snows in the summer here sometimes. But the warmest it's ever gotten is about 80.F

In Utah, the hottest I've ever been through was Fahrenheit 119, but summer averages are usually 101-108. As it is, it's a dry heat, so I don't think it's as bad as...say, Korea. It's 81 degrees here, and it feels like it's 200.
I was born in the UK, spent 15ish years in Ontario, Canada, and now I live in Idaho. Needless to say I am used to humidity. It gets HOT here, but even though it's hotter than around the great lakes, I find it more tolerable because it doesn't feel like I am being beaten with a wet towel as soon as I walk outside. And since it's basically desert, it gets chilly at night even in the height of summer with 100 degree days, so I can turn the AC off and sleep with the window open.
My skin, however, is not happy.

I despise the heat. It gets above 80 degrees Fahrenheit and I'm like, "Nope, I'm out." Fortunately, we're no longer in a trailer which was basically a large, metal box and my room was the furthest from the AC/heating so it was the hottest during the summer and the coldest during the winter. It's been in the nineties so far, but fortunately it's going to get back down to the sixties this week. It's also quite miserable taking the dog out for a jog in the morning, walking home, and then taking the dog for a walk in the evening. I stay cool by sitting in the dark of my house with the AC on and a fan blowing. Unless I'm watching anime or going to sleep. In that case, I'm buried under a blanket.
I dunno about Fahrenheit stuff, but it's been at least 27 Celsius here in Finland already. Possibly 30 somewhere. Which is surprising as we only just had 10-15 Celsius max not too long ago
Some warmth hit pretty quick.
I've not been out all that much, but I am looking forward to when I have the reason to go out~
